Røki Kilroy and Martin van de Vrugt - Wade in the Water
This old traditional folk song was recorded at my Ragged Mountain Studio@raggedmountainmusic3247 in Januari 2012, Deventer the Netherlands.
Jessica Røki Kilroy: Guitar and lead vocal. @rokifolk
Martin van de Vrugt: Guitars and harmony vocals. @MartinvandeVrugt
The acoustic guitars and vocals were recorded as one take, just Jessica and me playing the song into a couple of microphones. Later that week I added two lapsteel tracks and some additional harmony vocals.
Additional recording (hand drum), mix, mastering and video were done by Martin van de Vrugt at the same old Ragged Mountain Studio in November 2024.
