Everyone thought car builders were honest. If you think any car show is real, stop it. You have no idea. We. So called high dollar shops have bondo dispensers that are like soft serve ice cream, and they slop bondo on a car like that. This is why shops that do real metal work and macco are so different. Use magnets, bring a friend when you look at cars, someone’s word for it may be the story they got told by 5 previous owners. You bought a shitty restoration with a half inch of bondo and somehow it’s the body shops fault cause they found crap work from the previous builder? Oh a previous builder you overpaid for crap work. If body shops charge $100 an hour, it’s $4000 for 40 hours of work. That’s why you don’t get the sema car show paint work for $20k.
