Here we are. 2024. Great video with music.
I love this.
I'm from Ohio. I love being in Curtis
Ótimo vídeo, um excelente trabalho profissional, eu adoro caminhões também, Parabéns!!!
I have been on this ship several times and always enjoyed my visits. This video struck me in an odd way. Seen from the air she seems a strong seaworthy vessel who should be working the lakes in weather fair or foul. To see her beached is like viewing an animal mounted by a taxidermist, no longer living, a shadow of her former self.
He looks just like Edmund Fitzgerald.
So I’m going up there in 2 days, will there be somewhere to gas up, and will there be somewhere to buy groceries? I’m going camping for 5 days in the woodland park campground
yes there is a gas station and they also sell groceries.
@@upgraphicsawesome, thanks for the info.
Lived there for a year. Greatest bunch of hometown folks i have ever witnessed
Its a nice secluded place. I plan on going there every July.
Love that place
Beautiful, really enjoyed this video. Most tourists visit in the summer and don't get to see this perspective.
My grandparents have the same one but it’s red not blue
good video---but music sucks
beatiful nature
Towns changed a lot over the years.
I can see my aunt Mary's beauty shop nice vid.
Jesus you had to go the Titanic route playing bagpipes wtf is that crap about.🤣🤣🤣
Nice video 👍
My DNA says I have a paternal 3rd or 4th cousin in Newberry. Name withheld.
I love this place
Where is the snowmobile
Was on this boat around 1982 where it is sitting...In it's cargo hold was a fitz life raft near ripped in two. spooky it was to see the power of waves.
I think you mean lifeboat. I saw that also.
such a noble and majestic freighter. she doesnt deserve to be entomed in a grave like that. she deserves to be roaming free through the great lakes where she was happy.
locke11216 first of all she’s not sea worthy second of all you are dumb
She was seaworthy before they put her in a permanent land dock. genius
locke11216 wrong dumb ass
@@devastator226 you obviously don't have the brains god gave a flea. And I'm not going to deal with an obvious troll like you.
Since you are too stupid to look it up that’s your fault moron
Nice!
Nice.. in my dream..
Is this Newberry Michigan
Been to the Valley camp Museum ship twice now and very interesting. Me and my dad were just up there in July when we stayed a week at Higgins lake. 2 hours south. We drove up for the day to Sault St. Marie
Looks like the William Irvin in Duluth and the ms meteor in superior wi
I believe nepotism and sex scandals discredited Lucie co. Ems.
What a cool video...a great song, also
my dad grew up there, family was as poor as everyone else in the city but know we are wealthy 😂😂 we go there every summer it’s amazing
Just stopped in for lunchand to get gas in the sled yesterday, great place!
The music goes good with the town. I love it there. I'm glad I only live a few miles away and cohere every 4th July.
Awesome just had a reply this will be my first 4th of July in Grand Marais. but I will be back for the music fest cuz I've been doing this every year for years I love the hometown feel...
Beautiful video. Music is sappy. Kept thinking of Jews exiting trains during the war. Music, a MAJOR FAIL!
You need to come back this year-2018-we are doing updates and the Shrine is looking gorgeous!
will do
I miss being up there for the races! Thanks for posting things such as this! MEH
Hope you weren't flying while driving! Nice footage
cool video, thanks for sharing. Cheers!
This could be really helpful to the coaches. Any chance you could zoom in, get closer or even fly above them?
Beautiful video. It is nice that there are still remote places like this around. Next summer we will be checking it out. As you can see by the video - there are many, many, many TREES in the U.P. of Michigan - along with beautiful Great Lake shorelines. I love my home state.
our band" White Feather" played there at the Silver Dollar bar in 1971 ish.
Ontonagon high tax's water bills from hell poor services Main St. is a dead end fifty miles to shopping the only business making any money are church and bars. The people are clannish and are so busy talking about each other they barely have time to pray and drink. the only thing in that town worth seeing is the back of the welcome sign on the way out of town. I once invested in real estate there and only lost several thousand dollars but the sight in my rear view as I left was worth the loss. I must admit the food at Roxy's bar was some of the best bar food in the UP.
we are glad you enjoyed your stay. ........... and the horse you rode in on.
@@edwardbalcomb4514 The horse is fine but Ontonagon is still a dead town among many others in copper country I wish it were different met some good people there but what I wrote still stands. The listing a rife down river street
@@davidbeckman1066 So what about land and or cottages outside of town? Worth it to invest? what business would do good up there? gun store?
Thank you so much. Wonderful.
Do we really need another drone video?
nice video, gojng campjngnin a few days and wwanted an airial veiw, i need to pitch my tent some where so yeah, this helled alot
It's a long shot but. ..you still have it? Lol
sorry it been gone a long time
How much was it
cool, i have a cabin about 5 miles south of here on pike lake, sure looks different now, when the fire went thru here
I remember Soupy. When I was very young and went duck hunting he would always be at the landing in his houseboat talking to all of the hunters.
Reminds me of the original Queen Mary, which is sitting in permanent dock in Long Beach, California. Got to tour it. Would love to walk through this ship, too.
They said it is Haunted. Which is false.
awesome video!! just stunning can't wait to go UP Noth.
Amazing video, I just left the lighthouse it's amazing, but a long rough ride to get there.
