Hearing Alan say “I love you” to Susan makes me sad and nervous… once Monica comes back around back to Alan, Susan is toast… it’s so unfair to Jason .. and I think it’s unfair to Susan too. But I’ve always loved Alan..
i come back to this gh storylines and they always beat today's SLs of course. It felt so close to heart back in those days. I REALLY miss these bunch of Qs. Alan was Lila, Tracy is Edward :) So glad Jane Elliot is still in GH these days.
What was the deal with that, anyway? I remember people were REALLY pissed off, that he was fired on the eve of his 70th birthday, and that the cast was not happy about it. My theory was that Stuart Damon was fired because as someone who'd been on the show 30 years, he probably pulled in a big salary, didn't want to take a cut, and they were trying to skew younger. I felt so terrible for Damon, and Alan had always been one of my favorite characters.
Okay few of these people are medical professionals and nobody thought to have Alan chew some aspirin to thin his blood a bit so the MI damage might not have been so catastrophic. 😅
