With Super Typhoon Yagi making its way towards Vietnam the morning started with a fair bit of rain but we were able to go out for a ride through the mountains. Experience the MAGIC of Trang An Boat Tours! (Ninh Binh)
Переглядів 113Місяць тому
Join me as we explore Trang An's incredible Karst Mountains and rivers. Out of Trang An and Halong Bay, I would say that Trang An is the better overall experience as it is less crowded and there is no rush. The scenery is more impressive, as you feel so small. Of course, I would recommend experiencing both of them, but to me, Trang An and the Ninh Binh area as a whole are the clear winners. Tim...

NIce vid bro !
Thanks Appreciate it
Good video - but nothing here that ‘ I did not know existed ‘ may I suggest you get off the well beaten tourist trail and discover the real Vietnam, I promise you will not be disappointed. Still a great vid - I am going to check out your china adventure
I agree there is so much more to Vietnam than the popular tourist spots, but hopefully this will be a good starting point for discovering the less well-trodden paths! Thanks and hopefully you enjoy the China Videos!
Great Video Mate! The Coconut boats looked like an Experience 😂
It was a chaotic experience! Haha
I really enjoyed seeing the colours and sites again in a relaxed way with no rush and with a simple commentary. 😊
The you would definitely like the new video that is out now! Thanks again Mum
Absolutely horrible day and night sitting in a train station waiting for a train that never seemed to come.
Was definitely a frustrating experience but also thankful that we were both safely outside of the main impact Zone
Amazing place, but a bit too crowded for my liking (especially the kayak traffic jam!). BTW the music is a bit loud compared to your voice. Cheers,
Oh it was crowded! Wait until you see this weeks video! It is very similar to Halong bay but way less crowded and In my opinion more incredible! Sorry about the volume! I am trying different things to try and get the balance right! Hopefully I strike that balance soon! Thanks as always for the support
🇻🇳 Great Video! Good to hear that the crash wasn’t to crazy
Hey Everyone, Thanks again for watching another vlog. I really hope you enjoy this one. A couple of notes about this video. I was trying to adjust the colours to fit what I actually saw, but in some of the clips, I looked like a tomato. As you saw at the end of the video, I wasn't a tomato, thankfully. It's a learning process. Another issue is the black border on the edges, unfortunately, this was a mistake and this will be rectified for the next Vlog which should hopefully be out next Sunday or possibly earlier, Keep your eyes open. Thanks again for your support!!
Must be a boring life 🤨
Haha super boring 🥱
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Thank you for visiting my country, Vietnam 🇻🇳. Enjoy and stay safe.
Thanks mate Really Appreciate it! I have an Incredible time in Vietnam and definitely will be back! Make sure you keep tuned in for the rest of the videos coming up!
Good to see you travelling again. Looks like walking is the quickest way to get around! Cheers,
Feels awesome to be able to share my experiences from Vietnam! I will say when it’s busy it goes, Walking, Motorcycle and then Car! When it’s a little less busy it is motorcycle! Then again it is chaos! Hopefully you enjoy the rest of the videos that will be coming out!
Super excited to see this series! Been excited since hearing about it! 😊
What an amazing place! Fantastic cliff views, but I don't think I would be going out onto the rock! BTW, music mix was great in this one. Thanks for taking us along on the adventure.
Thanks Mate, It was insane and the views were incredible. Thanks it took me a couple of hours to try and balance the music so hopefully it was much better.
Thanks for showing me the area (especially the quieter areas without tourists!). I don't think I've been there since I was a kid - so it would have changed a lot in that time. Just a suggestion for the editing - your music is *way* too loud. I need to turn the volume up every time you talk, then turn it down again when the music starts. Cheers,
I'm glad you enjoyed the quieter spots! Thanks for the feedback on the music; I’ll definitely work on balancing it better for future videos.
Hey I live near there!
What a spot you live near
Stunning views . Interesting changes of weather.
Interesting to see Coota in the fog (then gone by the cemetery!). Great views on your walk - well worth it. If you want to walk in some similar country a bit closer to home, then check out some of the Budawang ranges near Nerriga. Mostly longer walks, but spectacular country. Cheers,
Cheers Neil, I rarely see Coota in Fog so that was pretty awesome! You wait until the video after next and the views and the adrenaline increase dramatically! Awesome thanks for the recommendations, I have been looking at Corang Peak or something around there! Just in the process of grabbing a paper map for the area! Thanks again for the incredible support, much appreciated!
Went up there a few times in my 20's. Looks pretty much the same, although I don't think that steeper track was there in those days. Always a good drive, and a good walk. Thanks also for the road scenes along the Olympic way at the end - know that one fairly well too. Cheers,
Thanks mate, it’s pretty awesome being above the plains, Next time I do it I will go up the way I went down, will be a good challenge!
Thanks for that. All familiar locations. I was up the hill only a month before you. Great views. Something wrong with the music in the first half, but otherwise OK. Cheers,
Awesome it’s a great spot! I think I have rectified the audio!

Great Video, love the change up to riding around! Keep it up! 👍
Thanks! Will do!
One of my favourite walks - you did a good job showing it. Cheers
Thanks appreciate the support
Hey I remember going up there. Bit of a tough walk for an old bloke - you've got youth on your side. Great views though. Thanks,
Haha thanks, I might have youth on my side but I was only about 6 months post ACL surgery
Thanks for that. Been up there a few times myself. Yes, normally busier - the carpark works probably affected that.
Yeah I think a mixture of the roadworks and being mid week made it less busy! Once again appreciate the support!
Hey there...where were you staying and how did you get to Shaolin Temple? Im planning for a trip this year.
Hey Mate. So I was on a tour and we were in Zhengzhou and went on a day trip to the Shoalin temple organised by our tour. From the research I did you can book day trips from Zhenzhou but I can assume there would be options from other cities as well. Best of luck with your trip, I reckon you will love it.
Looks like a great experience! I loved how every time Australia Scored the celebration became more muted!
It was a great game for sure.
Absolutely Stunning! What a way to start the New Year! I think you have inspired me! 🌄
Thanks mate really appreciate it! It’s definitely a great way to start!
Emotional video! Your grandad sounded like an inspiration!
For sure he was one of my biggest inspirations's

Thanks! Had an amazing time in China and will definitely be visiting again! Maybe next time I’ll get to visit the Avatar Mountains!
thank u for ur video. Suzhou is a beautiful city and Traditional Jiangnan water towns which are famous for their beautiful canals, ancient bridges, traditional houses, and peaceful atmosphere.
have a great fun.
Suzhou is a very beautiful city! Incredible scenery everwhere and the people were so friendly. Thank you so much for watching and supporting the video!
Have fun and be careful with your money? I did travels to Zhengzhou when I was younger....couldn't speak Chinese.....I was worried about pickpockets so I kept money in my underwear pockets. Turned out that the only money I lost, is the money I tried to give away as tips to the waitresses....who always ran behind me to give me back my tips usually a couple of yuans. I discovered that China was very safe then, even though I was told that they will sell my organs. So now maybe they will try to gouge foreigners? I don't know but after returning to China second time, I felt much more comfortable and safe. My advice is have an open mind and enjoy the experience. It's China an old civilization crawling out of the woodwork. Enjoy it for what it is and what you see. Another place on this planet to stimulate the eyes, ears and taste buds.
Wow, what a story! Thanks for watching and yeah we went in with an open mind and It was incredible. Everyone was so welcoming and always trying to make conversation even though i cant speak Chinese. For the whole trip, I felt extremely safe and had no issues whatsoever except on Nanjing Rd in Shanghai where we were warned about pick pockets!
Looked like a pretty wet day. Too bad about the long delay but at least you got somewhere reasonable to stay.
Yeah it was a wet and long day but I mean that’s what travels all about! Finding ways to amuse yourself in an Airport for 5 hours
Didnt realise so many were still buried. Amazing.
Thanks for watching and for the support mum! Hope you are enjoying them!
Loved it Asher! The High speed rail looked really cool as well!
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it! The High speed train was definitely an interesting experience!
0:13 someone looks extremely tired
Oh I can tell you right now I was shattered!
What a fun day! Cool
A very fun day! Thanks for checking it out!
Climbing the Great wall isnt for me at the moment. Maybe once my ankle recovers fully but amazing views.
Definitely not good for you ankle! Maybe a bit more training is in order
Great Video Mate! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Thanks appreciate the support!
Wonderful!Looking forward to more of your videos from China
Thanks for Watching. Always appreciate it! There should be a new video out in the next day or so! Keep tuned in!
All dictatorships of the single-thought type have a big inferiority complex, USSR, North Korea, Nazi, China etc. that's why they use gigantic places, gigantic street. But they disappear anyway. Have a good trip.
Thanks for watching! It was a great trip and I definitely kept my eyes and mind open the entire trip!
Excited to see the next episode in this series. Hopefully it goes a bit smoother for you.
Thanks Mum hope you enjoy the remaining episodes!
Absolutely loved it! Great job!
