Cone peak is an amazing trek! The elevation change can definitely be brutal but well-worth it. It's the tallest coastal mountain in the contiguous US, making it particularly unique since it can also be accessed w/o any mountaineering skills :O

those slots are amazing, we have done that trail below fonts, it gets tight. thats one sexy 2 door you got there! you have to be careful as ground fires are allowed in ocotillo but not in anza borrego, you must have a metal burn container and remove all ashes. those caves were cool, ive not been to them. man i miss me some mexico, i need a trip to san felipe soon!
