Isn't it nasty that these train blow their horns? I mean, wouldn't it be so much better and peaceful if the DIDN'T and you just drove right there in front of them and quietly got crushed? I live approximately 1/2 mile from the one along the south side of Stewart and never have felt the need to whine about the horns. The whiners remind me of those people who want the 'deer crossing" signs move so that the deer will cross elsewhere. Must be the same ones who voted for that angry finger pointer who whined about our mayor but never said what he WOULD do. i saw info on the website about the implementation of bike/walkable infrastructure. i'm quite new to wausau but i'm a big fan! i think downtown has the right idea. the roads in wausau aren't as gigantic and congested as my hometown. i personally would love for biking and walking to become equally viable options to driving :)
