Thanks for reaching out! Rover+ is a more powerful version of its predecessor, the Rover. Because of the unique tube technology (carbon nanotube), it requires less power to generate the necessary outputs to achieve exceptional images of the entire body. It's a 9kw gen, w 120kVp, and 80mAs max outputs.
Australia once had car making industry. Now all gone. Micro X set up in the defunct Mitsubishi factory in South Australia, I gather employing ex auto workers to manufacture these machines.

Your opening statement was spot on. EMS is a truly rewarding career, as I've found out over the past 25 years. Question from an Australian paramedic-how does pay and training compare between different EMS providers? Our EMS structure here is very different. We have just once ambulance service per state, and in most jurisdictions they're state government owned. As a result, an ambulance station 500 miles away will have the same style of ambulance with the same equipment, and paramedics with the same skills and pay rate as here. Private emergency ambulances are technically illegal, as are EMT level staff and we don't have crews attached to any FD.
Glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for your comment! The median annual salary for an EMT is around $35,500, and $46,000 for Paramedics. The scope of practice for EMRs, EMTs, and Advanced EMTs is set through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Training and requirements vary from state to state, and while NREMT is considered the country's national certification body, states can set their own requirements. Currently, 38 states use the NREMT exam for EMTs, and 45 use it for Paramedic certification.
