Hi! I'm Justine and the main objective of this channel is to remember vacations, baby milestones, and fun weekends because I enjoy editing videos and sharing them with friends and family. It is how I like to look back at nice memories. I'm having fun learning how to edit and maybe one day this channel can evolve to a theme with other viewers, but that is a project that did not get the chance to really take off - yet. An overnight tent trip in Hausdalen for the second time in 2024. It was chilly and the sun set earlier, but the silver lining was that we could finally enjoy a bonfire in the dark. Killian is almost 6 months and Finnley is almost 4 years old. We love this place and hope everyone leaves it better than they found it.

Took the family on an overnight to Hausdalen where I had taken Finnley and Pancho by myself the year before. Kept as a rough edit with no music, just the birds chirping and Finnley chatting.

In April, we took Finnley and Pancho to the Birdbox near Førde. There are several birdbox cabins scattered around Norway, but this was the closest one that also allowed pets. I took Finnley and Pancho for an over night near Gullfjellet in our 2-person tent. We kept it very simple to make it easy on me, as I was trying to do this by myself for the first time and didn't want to feel stressed. We were on the hunt for sprat in Hardangerfjord for a few days in late August 2021 aboard Research Vessel Kristine Bonnevie. It was Anne-Liv's very last survey before retiring, and we were given fantastic weather for such an occasion. This was my first survey back since maternity leave, and first time away from Finnley. It went really well!

In May 2019, we bought a 2011 MB Sprinter to convert into a campervan. We completed our conversion in June 2020. The tempo of our build was heavily influenced by the weather and our work schedules. It rains a lot in Bergen and we did not have any shelter to work under. Idar worked on site from Monday to Thursday every week, and Justine was at sea for up to 3 weeks at a time for work. From Bergen to Lindesnes and then chasing good weather in Lofoten. All of this in a week before the engine thermometer broke and we had to leave the van in Bodø for a simple repair. 2500 kilometers in a very eventful week.
A weekend at the cabin

We spent the weekend at the cabin in Haugastøl where the temperatures were between -10 and -32 degrees Celsius! I enjoyed a couple of short cross-country ski trips that gave a great view towards Hardangervidda. Thanks for joining us Carey, David and Åsmund. Song: "Communicator" by Reed Mathis

In August 2019 we went to Zion National Park. The tubing was hilarious and so fun! Ignore our comments about the scenery, we got plenty of scenery hiking around Zion.

Hi Florian! I work for the Institute for Marine Research in Norway and we were working at sea near the island so we requested permission to come ashore. It was very special :)

There are quite some people that are paying a good amount of money to get a chance to see Jan Mayen unless you're in some sort of Sientific or Naval programm attatched to the island it's not easy to get there. Hope you had a wonderfull adventure there and again, thanks for sharing this footage... what's next? bouvetoya ;)
