В этом случае умение маневрировать чтобы точно выйти на курс и дистанцию стрельбы к моменту окончания перезарядки было бы значимым. А поскольку в этом случае корабли будут гораздо дольше набирать критические повреждения для затопления, то помпы можно запретить (или резко ограничить из производительность). Интересно, правилами этих "сражений" оговорена прочность бортов? Количество отдельных отсеков (для увеличения живучести)?

I like the idea but not the implementation. The speed at which these battleships move is way too fast. They also shouldn't be able to instantly reverse.

Point blank range? Oh come on. Battleships were always over the horizon shooting at great range in most real battles. That would not work with BBs.
