      Thanks so much for the feedback 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I can say it's never tipped where the actually squat rack has fallen. I usually put some weights on the base of the squat rack to help with that. I have racked the barbell where the barbell has hit the squat rack, where the top of the squat rack tipped a little, but the base was sound. But I've never had an incident where it's fallen. Hope that was able to help. Let me know how you go which ever squat rack you decide to get 👍🏼

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech 2 місяці тому

      You probably couldn’t get a full extension on your arms when doing ring pull-ups. You would have to bend your knees, but they probably wouldn’t touch the ground. I’m 169cm tall, so being shorter helps here haha 😅The only solution I could think of, is if you place the B-bars on something a bit higher to give more depth and increase the height of the b-bars, for example, putting it on planks of wood on each side. Just a thought there. Thanks for the question, apologies I couldn’t be more definitive.

    So will Garmin be better ? What about vivoactive 5 or Garmin 165?

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech 3 місяці тому

      In my opinion/experiences, if physical activity tracking is your focus, then I would go for Garmin. I personally have a Garmin Venu 3 at the moment and really enjoy it for exercise tracking. If you want health data and better smart watch features as a general smart watch, the Samsung will do a solid job, but just falls short for activity tracking. The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a good Garmin. It's similar to the Venu 3 I have with just fewer features, but it's cheaper as well. I hope that helped, and thanks for the question it really helps the channel. 👍🏼👍🏼

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech 3 місяці тому

      I would probably pick the Vivoactive 5 because you do more gym workouts than just running. Both have basically the same feafures, but the Vivoactive 5 should be a better general smart watch as well. If you want to really focus on running and don't care about smart watch features, since you have the apple watch, then the 165 would be your choice.

But from my experience, It’s been fine for long term use, but it will depend on how often you use it, where it’s stored, and if there’s anything that may cut the net in your backyard or whereever you set it up. Also listening and responding to voice messages on WhatsApp using the watch is amazing too. The health tracking is great. Samsung do need to work on the fitness tracking side of things though. Do you think you could use it for TRX exercise if you keep your feet on the frame or if you put weight plates on the frame? Thanks!

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech 7 місяців тому

      Thanks for the positive feedback 🙏🏼 The lower height is 112cm. It's fairly easy to put up and down. You just have to wriggle the bar a little to slide it off/on and line the pins up to the holes. When stored it's 74x85cm. Yes, I think you can definitely use a TRX. Essentially, it's going to be similar to using rings. I will say, if you are doing body weight rows where you are standing and leaning back, you will definitely need weights to stop the other side from tipping. I hope this was helpful, thanks again for the questions.

    Do you recommend buying the big bar over the b-bars if I'm completely new to pull ups?

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech 11 місяців тому

      Great question! In my opinion, I would probably go with the big bar if doing pull-ups is your primary goal. You can use bands and other progressive exercises to work your way up to pull-ups. The Big-Bars would be too cramped, but it caters to other exercises better. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏼🙏🏼

    • @Drew-lz4iz

      @@HealthFitnessTech thank you for the advice! I mainly wanted one for Pull ups. But now also for dips and inverted rows (both with rings) as well as leg raises. B-Bars seem great for dips, but I feel like L-sit/knee to chest pull ups would be difficult for me to learn with correct form as a beginner. Ring dips aren’t easy either, but probably easier to learn I think.

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech 11 місяців тому

      Yes, I think it sounds like a good option. You can even buy cheaper dip bars as well, if you have the room. All the best on your pull-up journey. Be sure to let me know how you go in the future, if you decide to get the Big Bar.

    If I’m 6’1 can I do pull ups with them?

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

      Thanks for reaching out and great question! I’m 5ft 6 (169cm) and I can say that I can’t fully extend my arms. I would say at your height it would be very difficult to do pull-ups with any decent range of motion, since you are a fair bit taller than me and I already feel the squish. In my opinion you would have 2 options, 1) You could put platforms or something at the bases of the B-bars to make the B-bars higher and you would have more room. It would have to be stable so I would worry there. 2) You could opt for the Big Bar instead, which is a big version of the basebar and it would let you do pull-ups easily, but you wouldn’t be able to do dips. To solve this you could even get a pair of cheap dip bars for dips as well. On the website the Big bar is slightly cheaper than the B-bars. I hope this was able to help and all the best making a decision. Please let me know how you go. 👍🏼

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

      I actually found a video that compares the big bar and base bar which is just one half of the B-bars. Watch at the end the guy is 6’1 ft. ua-cam.com/video/hwMluo3XDfk/v-deo.html

      You could try sitting on the floor with your back to the wall, and note how high your hand goes if you reach straight up. And check that with the measurements Baseblocks have on their website. Either way it'll be an L-sit pullup though

    i got base bar last week and it feels so good to finally do chinups and dips for first time, im planning to buy B BAR conversion kit which turns the base bar into b bar. i currently for some reason cant do pullups cuz of elbow pain but can do chin ups

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

      That's fantastic! Congrats on the purchase. Yes it's definitely a good feeling to be able to do chin ups and dips at home. Oh that is weird! If you change the width of your grip does it still hurt? or it could just be the angle of the elbow? I guess at least you can do chin ups, which still helps. Definitely let me know how you progress. Will they stay in if my cap is just covering the power cord and not the actual headphones themselves? I find that when my cap is covering them, it’s pretty tight and I look like a fish

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

      Ah, yes, I don't blame you for not like the fish look. I believe when I used them, it doesn't stay that well without the cap. It does depend on how you swim (very smooth & steady). Although I believe they might stay on, but if the strap is covered, but they most likely would fall out from my experience unfortunately. Thanks for the comment 👍🏼

    Has it ever dislodged while working out? I’m thinking of buying one but how safe is it seeing it’s not screwed to anything. How stable? Also is just a matter of seconds to put up on the doorframe and take it off? Would have been nice to show in the video

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

      Thanks for the questions and suggestions! I can say that I have never had it dislodge when doing pull-ups. I found it pretty stable and believe it will fix most general door frames that have a space to clip the pull-bars onto. That would have been a good idea! I wish I thought and included it at the time. All the best if you decide to purchase it. Also, I bought a cheap $15 pull up bar from K-mart and never had a problem with that either when I used it.

  • @milk2312

    My doorframe only overhangs about 2cm. Will this be enough for this pull-up bar?

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

    Hi, would u recommend this watch over the venu 2s?

    • @HealthFitnessTech
      @HealthFitnessTech Рік тому

      Great question! From my research, both smart watches come with similar features and both would be a great pick. The venu 2s has a better amoled screen and a bit better battery life. I would say the Venu 2s, however, if you can get the VivoActive 4 for a much lower price, it would be worth it as well. Hope this helps 👍🏼
