Inquisition still works because the "changes" aren't unfounded. In most peoples playthroughs she's a mother now (and trying to be better than her's was) and this is also after she's already infiltrated the Orlesian court and thus she's learned how to act/play like high society to do so and has become a bit more refined as a result. She's still snarky and witty when she wants to be but has also shaken off some of that Teenage angst we saw her with in Origins. Purely visual wise I don't "hate" Veilguard and honestly Morrigan specifically probably comes out the best of any returning characters...But the new artstyle isn't doing ANYONE any favours.

I think the worst thing to come out of this whole thing is that dragon age is undoubtedly discontinued. I got no problem with these degenerates losing their jobs or things along those lines for this catastrophe, but losing a trilogy that is dragon age should be considered capital crime. Origins was in 9:30 Dragon. Veilguard takes place in 9:52 Dragon. Twenty years ago I was snarkier, impulsive, immature, dressed very differently, and some would say I was mean. I would hope no character after that long would stay the same. No one wants one dimensional characters with no arc or redemption I would hope. It’s kinda like she matured especially with all the bs she went through with her mother.
