Our contry duo Hot Streaks (Andy Hilland & Ville Härkönen) from Finland performs a Hank Williams country classic "Your Cheating Heart". Recorded live at book store Laterna Magica, Helsinki, in August 2024. The steel guitar is Fender long scale Stringmaster (1953).

Pretty good job of playing it on the E9 when it's actually on the C6. I played with ray for years. And I got this same arrangement you're trying to do from buddy. And I got to play It with ray. And I pretty much copied almost everything buddy did from the Austin city limits show. I think I've tried to play it on E9A few times but I always go back to the other neck. There's some legs you just cannot do on the E9 that he did on the original. But he did do an album back on the 70s that he did a version of this on the E9

Are you using the "B" and "C" pedals to make it sound like a c13th tuning?
Hi, thanks for asking. That Williams is a U12, quite standard universal tuning. I used to play a universal, but I've been playin a standard D-10 for years now,. In that U-12 it was kind of possible to get a B6 tuning, I'm playing in that mode in the video.
You are the greatest E-9th steel player from Finland I ever heard. Also the first.
