Of course not! If I find they are rancid, I take them to the manager or just buy the bag but do not take more!
Thank you for this video. I'm just curious. Are most items past expiration? I'm thinking of making am hour drive to visit this store, but Im a little worried about the dates.
Hi Samantha, there are some things that have expired and others that have not. So for things that are more likely to become rancid - nuts, nut butters, olive oil, and mixes that have fat in them, I am more careful to check expiration dates. I hope this helps and happy bargain finding!

They do sell K cups. I don't use k cups though soon I don't know how much they are.
Love this place, shop here all the time. So inexpensive.
My parents used to go here all the time! We went there today, full cart of food for $100. Would have been $250 anywhere else. Just gotta watch the expiration dates on some of it.
Jane, Are there some other bargain stores near the BBs in Oxford? Like a bulk foods store or a baked goods outlet? I'd like to find another place to go when I am up that way.
Hi Wendy, the other stores I go to are not that close to Oxford. There are lots of other bargain grocery stores in the county, but maybe 45 minutes from Oxford - Sharp Shopper, Glenwood Foods, and Ebenezers, to name a few. If you are looking for bulk nuts and candy, you could go to Ephrata PA and check out Sharp Shopper, Ebenezers, and Glenwood foods, and then go to Weaver Nut company retail store. And then you could go up to the Pepperidge Farm Outlet in Denver, PA.
I'm from New York and when we visit pa we always visit several bbs locations and load up the car. You can't beat the prices since food is just crazy expensive and you don't feel bad buying something that you always wanted to try and end up hating. When you pay retail it's upsetting when you don't like something you got.
You got that right, Brian! It is hard for me to go into regular stores now and pay full price! You should check out Sharp Shopper, Glenwood Foods, and Ebenezers the next time you are visiting.

Typically within date but close to expiration. Having done this kind of shopping for a while now, I don't worry about it much unless the items are nuts, olive oil, or baking mixes with fat in them (things that all can go rancid).

It could be - I have friends from MD that come up here to shop - to make it worthwhile you might check out multiple surplus stores at one time - Sharp Shopper, Glenwood Foods, Ebenezer Groceries, BB's. Bring your coolers!
