Welcome to the channel! My aim is to document the progression of my dirt biking and snow biking adventures. I'll also be posting content relating to my 2018 G56 Cummins, it's the last year of the manual and I love this truck!
I started riding bikes not as early as most people so it’s still fairly new to me. My riding is going to be very real, you will not be "WOW'd" about my skill but you will see my progression from having started dirt riding two years ago, at 35 years old.

Giving up was not an option
It might not be much to most riders but to me this log is something that I've been looking at for a few months. I finally found it in me to try to get onto it and there were plenty of fails. I didn't give up and I made it!

KTM TPI rebuild failure!
Переглядів 1 тис.Рік тому
My 300 tpi blew up after 5 minutes. After dropping off the engine at the mechanic he thinks that my cylinder wasn't ready for a size B piston yet and it was too tight.

2024 and I'm about do my 2014 exactly like this. Probably a performance air intake, aftermarket sunroof.
Is this jaws pipe with the Jaws Trail or Jaws race? Sounds loud for a trail can
Hi, it was the JAWS pipe with the Jaws Trail can.
Bought my 2018 ram 3500 SRW G56 in oct 2018. Build was complete and shipped to me in March 2019. 4 inch BDS lift. Crew cab long bed. Badass
Love these common rails with the g56/nv5600 (from the US) i guess o the 6.7L 's "KDP" is the grid heater (here in fl /southern U. S. Grid heater isnt really an issue) but it would be the absolute FIRST Thing i addressed had i gotten a CR Cummins.. great sounding/beautiful truck, best of luck
Congrats brother- beautiful truck. Fluid film (or similar) is your friend if you plan to keep 'er for the long haul.
I have the G56 on a 2017. Exhaust brake does nothing for the turbo actuator. My failed at 72,000. The clutch went at 86,000. I actually use my truck. It’s not a family car. You clearly don’t use the truck what it’s built for.
I have 18 crew cab long bed g56 4x4. Mines sitting under 15,000 miles. Mine i baby .
Sent it ya buddie hahaha
For sale?
Would you sell it?
Panic pin
MANNNN what a rare truck. !!! I hope you keep her around for a long time :)
Nice unit 👍 hate to be bad news but you’re lucky you’ve not had emissions trouble already but it will be soon I promise. That’s why I bought a g56 06 3500. 130,000. 2 injectors that’s it. Good luck. Stay safe
I have all of the emissions on my 5500 without issue. They're meant to work hard.
My advice, keep it. Don’t modify the engine, don’t put a lift in it, it looks great the way it is. Drive it for a million km’s .
I was looking at a 08 Power Wagon, that was sold before I had a chance to do the paperwork on it (my trade in was my down payment) so they had a 12 Ram 2500 ST 4x4 with a 6.7 Cummins and G56 that I was happy to take!
Yankees be silly af but he seem cool
😴
Ram should be kicked in the balls for stopping production of the manual. Such a stupid idea.
🤘🤘🤘
"Promo sm"
Bonfire ??
Ktm should warranty that
Not really I was the one that took it appart
@@SousaMotorsports even so, they said you could over size after 25 hrs. Probably some fine print somewhere that protects them. They are always covering their ass.
Did you warm up correctly? Minimum 2 minute without reving up?
Yes I did a few heat cycles 1 without touching the throttle and let it warm up to operating temp 2 warmed up and let idle to operating temp and blipped throttle 3 same thing but rode it
Yep ottawa..blahhh
And your carbon tax is doing sweet bugger all
You are quite a brave man driving a car in a weather like that
A transformer exploded near my house becuase of the freezing rain
That sucks I hope you have a generator
@@SousaMotorsports The power came back luckily
Thats freezing rain not black ice there is a difference 😂😂
Well, your first move was good!
Yeti!
I tried a yeti for the first time and it’s a totally different feel from the Timbersled. I found that it was easier to lay on its side and more similar to a summer tire feeling.
@@SousaMotorsports I definitely like that about my 129SS, very easy and light. My 137 is surprisingly nimble too, but needs some deeper snow to get that feel.
Snowbikes is just so much more fun than sleds!
Absolutely!! I love it
Props for giving it gas and not going out like a bitch
You had it!
Hope you had help with you to get it out!
It took a few of us lol
Oh chit I think I sent it a little to hard bud! Great vid, glad your ok. Keep up the good work
Ive almost done that but my sled made it, but I (me) fell off and ended up in the drink, haha. i knew the drink was only 6 inches or less "warm water". Since then, ive learned to just stop once i hit the other side. Full throttle, pin it, land....stop. Survey situation, go again. I loooove that kind of creek riding. Scary as heck but the adrenaline rush is worth it.
Haha for sure. It’s epic riding. I was standing right in front of my buddy when he did this, couldn’t believe it lol
Awesome riding! camera doesn't do justice to the real conditions
Absolutely, what a wicked ride!!!
Amazing!
Thanks love!
When in doubt throttle out
Lol yes!!
I had a 2018 as well. You are so right about the mirrors. The first one I test drove had the tow mirrors and when they were down the image represented in the mirror was awful when it came to judging space and distance. I wound up buying a Big Horn that had the Sport package and the sport mirrors. Also, prematurely wearing out those stock Firestone Transforce tires is actually a blessing! Those things were horrible for traction. My truck was so much better after I replaced them with some Cooper AT3's.
The stock firestones are good for hwy and that’s about it!

Oh shit! That floor came up to meet ya REAL fast
It was a disaster but he’s okay!
Ouch
I did the exact same thing you did Michael. Ended up finding one almost exactly how I'd have built it in Tennessee, flew there and picked it up, new, and brought it home. 4 years later I'm, so happy I did.
Thx for documentation of your experience.😃 I bought a 2018 RAM 3500 SRW 4x4 Tradesman G56 in August 2018. First new truck I ever bought!😃
Thanks, enjoy your truck too!
Great video, not many out there of that type of truck north of the border. I got a 2015 with a g56 and love it but, the other comments are correct...it's a matter of time before that egr craps out on you!! Mine froze solid in -45 although it was plugged in, best thing that happened to me! Just ordered the same leveling kit, good choice and good video keep it up. 👌🏾
Right on
do you have a link for the kit?
Bought my 2014 laramie fully loaded cclb sunroof, cooled seats, rear air bags blacked out and deleted last year, never letting her go unless I find a newer g56 fully loaded white megacab
Good stuff!
Looking to buy a 2014 3500 DUALLY with 67k miles ! How has yours Ben treating ya?
Video officially does not suck. Would like to know what your mileage is like with stock emmissions controls.
Thanks Marc. Stock suspension and stock tires 285/60r20 I could get 11.2 l/100km at 120km/h on the 401. That’s a 33.5 inch tall tire With a 295/65r20 which is 35.1 inches tall it went up to about 13l/100km for that same trip. Then with the 2.25 inch level I feel like it may have gotten worse but not by much. Stock tires and no level was pretty great for mileage.
Nice truck. I kick myself all the time for not buying one in 2018. Hard to find now
Thanks! I really enjoy it
