@@cricketd7507 thank you! ♥️
Hi Stacey.I've watched so many pickled red onion videos lately that my head is spinning. I used to have a great brine but it was lost over the years. I've decided to use your recipe due to it's simple approach and minimal ingredients. People load a bunch of flavors into their brines that finding the taste of the brined item gets hard to do! One thing I've learned when deciding how much brine to make is kind of simple. I gauge it on the mass inside the jar. Sliced onions(lots of air space) I make 75% of the jar volume, and whole onions(less space) 60%, well packed pickles(even less space, depending on the pickle size) about 50%. I make 1 jar extra for a 'just in case'! Any excess brine will never go to waste! Living alone I started making a couple of refrigerator ones and the rest I water bath can for later.
Loved it! ❤️
Thank you!!
Beautiful views! 🤗
It really was! Thanks for your support!
Great video, Stacey! Can't wait to come visit when you get all moved!

After consuming onions, can we add more onions once with leftover liquid...will that change the quality or taste..
Hi there! Yes I do this often and it's fine for about 3 rounds but then the juice from the onions starts to dilute it a little too much so then I feel I need a fresh batch. Hope this helps! Thanks for you question.
Can i please have the name of this onion slicer??
Hi there. It's a mandolin made by the brand OXO. Here's a link: www.amazon.com/OXO-1155700-V-Blade-Mandoline-Slicer/dp/B001THGPDO/ref=sr_1_4?crid=14WAUKWT9T4HM&dchild=1&keywords=oxo+mandoline+slicer&qid=1612593352&sprefix=oxo+man%2Caps%2C197&sr=8-4 Thank you for your question!
Lol. Your funny, you remind me of me when you say “ the kitchen is so dirty” it’s clean, but I go in to make a simple recipe and look around and it’s a mess a d I only used like five ingredients 🤣 I’m a messy baker/cook
Ha! Yes so true!
I LOVE looking at something after its all neat and organized. I kept showing off my pantry after I organized it and no one cared but I was like LOOK HOW NICE! 🤣 This is a great idea thanks for sharing! And as always this video is beautifully done. Great job!
Yes I’m like that too!! I love making it nice and organized but most people don’t appreciate how great it really is to us. Lol Thanks! I really appreciate it!!
Now I want to go to Ikea. I haven't been in like 15 years! Love that drive home view though. I would take that drive all the time and never have a destination. <3
Yes it is a beautiful peaceful drive just because. ❤️
Wish we had a Costco!
Yes I wish you did too. ☹️ it’s a pretty cool place❤️
I just love the care you take even with very little things♡
Thanks you! :)
Hey I made some of these but they’re too acidic and tart, don’t think I put enough sugar, is there a way to fix this?
I apologize for the delayed response. I think if you add a little more sugar that may do it, but you can also add some water as well to dilute it. I would try adding an extra tablespoon of sugar and or water at a time until you find it works for you. They are supposed to be tart like pickles but everyone has their own preferred tartness. :). Hopefully that will help. Blessings to you.
Thanks for the reply, I’ll give it a try
Great tree storage tip. That would help with the mess of taking down a flocked tree for sure!
Yes it does! Thanks so much!

Oh and I like the Ivy. Even though it is fake it kept growing out of the pot lol. You push it and it popped out.
Lol ikr!? I was like “stay!” 😂
And thanks for letting me know. I ended up staying with the ivy.
😂😂 That little tree was whooping ya!! Those turned out so pretty. Awesome idea thanks for sharing and teaching us!
Thank you! ❤️
Yum! 💖
So good!
Great video! But you’re supposed to drink a glass of the wine you use to cook with or it’s bad luck. Ok not really I made that up but next time you should. 😉
Haha ok I’ll be sure to do that! Thank you!
Loved it! Thanks Stacey
So glad! Thank you!
Yummy Tea...Gingerbread Treat & Irish Holiday. The ice skating rink is cool. I think the Christmas lights need a little more color. Too much white becomes boring after a while. (just my opinion). Love the outdoor heaters at the restaurants. As always, loved the video and the lights. Thank you for sharing. Another excellent video...Great Job.
Thank you!
If you watched Justin Wilson growing up, you're supposed to have some wine for you and then some wine for the salt. Then some more wine for you and a little wine for the salt...LoL. That post party refresh was from all of that wine. LoL. Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Yes ma'am I do remember Justin Wilson doing that! lol
Post Party refresh!! Yea!! Another excellent video...Thanks for sharing.
You're so sweet :)
