HKC SABB Restoration
Переглядів 5553 роки тому
This is a restore of a bell box I got along with a HKC 8/12 System a while back. This is their older style box with red comfort LEDs and slightly different lid design. Their newer boxes improves the shape of the lid and has brighter white LEDS
Aritech CS 350/450 Default Engineer Codes
Переглядів 8 тис.3 роки тому
Default engineer code for Aritech CS 350/450 Alarm panels The Aritech CS 350 or Aritech CS 450 home alarm was one of the most popular in Ireland in its day but was discontinued in 2006 as the new CS250 took over. The CS350 and CS450 were excellent alarm control panels and are still to be found in homes throughout the country and for the purposes of a basic home alarm - they may still be good fo...
HKC Bell Box LED Light Module Installation
Переглядів 5173 роки тому
Today I am going to be showing how I used an LED Flasher module to bring some new life to old SABB's. The one I have here is manufactured by HKC and was used for many years in the late 1980's/1990's. I got it locally new old stock for €15. Big thanks to Ronan at Task security for getting this product out to me so quickly. Here are the links to their website and eBay store. Great to support Iris...
I hear hochiki CHQ WSB sounder
Aritech as293
The AS500 series also makes the same noise.
New ones use a very bad led strobe
That's a carters super m. Predates the master blaster by around 25 years
That sounds like the one at my school
Irish school?
I have a v1 and a v3
These units are a v2 sabb u can still get them but there a bit different and made by aritech
Aritech have their own model that looks similar, will have a video on one soon from Chubb new old stock
strange that it happened during the night
Yeah definitely
Is the hochiki fire alarm common in Lenister
Depends on the installer, most use Apollo
It's just that they probably forgot to test their fire alarms when they slept, so that's probably what it went off in the night.
@securitysystemsireland8524 thats the apllo fire alarm that i have in my school
It is an aritech 3 mile siren
Have you any links to the product online?
@@securitysystemsireland8524 ua-cam.com/video/3EUPgGtjHvA/v-deo.html
Thanks! Great siren, it was ringing out throughout the entire town
@@securitysystemsireland8524 lol
Sorry to correct you but it’s nicknamed the 2 mile siren!
Cool! I prefer the 4 element ones
Do you have a video on them?
I don’t but I have one, it sounds the same.
That's an aritech but easily mistaken for hkc.
Nope it’s HKC, I have an Aritech one that I’ve yet to do a video on
This was in our 1070 installed years ago Annoys that they don't even use proper parts If in greater Dublin area don't use SureGard alarms
Yep, we had Mac Alarms. Turns out it was a lazy engineer, he didn’t even program the keypad properly
nice!
Good sounders these are, nice and discreet and can be mounted practically anywhere
Came out of our existing alarm panel when doing an upgrade. Actually shouldn’t have been installed in the first place as it was clearly something an engineer just had on the van! 😅
@@securitysystemsireland8524 what alarm system got de commissioned
Our original alarm that came with the house was an aritech CS350. The internal sounder shown here was removed from a HKC 10270 panel and replaced with an official wired HKC internal sounder
@@securitysystemsireland8524 ahh I see HKC 10270s are the best
Hello
nice, what age are you?
I’m 21 my dude. Going to be doing a security apprenticeship soon ☺️
@@securitysystemsireland8524 lucky! i know you may be to old but we have a server on discord if you wanna join here is the invite: discord.gg/tYq25qb2Vh if you dont thats understandable
Only seeing your comment now. I’ll check it out
@@securitysystemsireland8524 ok cool
Is a cd34 the same?
In the manual I’m pretty sure it said the two are the same. Can’t confirm it at the moment but I would say so
@@securitysystemsireland8524 I think a cd 34 is slightly different as it has a sticker on a slimmer panel if you know what I mean
Im pretty sure, that that is a Aritech, but it would work for a HKC Saab aswell
Can you make video of the inside and it soundin
That bell box isn't hkc it's stitch
Link?
@@securitysystemsireland8524 Sorry it’s Aritech
You sure? Do you have a link for it so I could update the video title? I have a Aritech/Interlogix box I have yet to do a video on that’s a lot newer than the one in the video and they look very similar
@@securitysystemsireland8524 Yeah quite Sure, could you do a video demonstrating it
Will do, I’ll be demonstrating both boxes soon
Ooooo wow thats a nice bell box ive never seen one
Yeah they’re quite common over here still 😁
Wow! Looks like its from the 1990s that.
Yeah I’m pretty sure it is, they switched over to the one I did a restore in the early 2000’s
Great vid! I’ve never seen one of those boxes before, they seem quite nice
They were very popular in Ireland and can still be found in many properties. They’re made so they can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on which cutout for the lens is removed. I’ll post a video about it soon explaining it in detail
