It was a booming place in Berkshire County back in the heyday of the 1960s and 1970s. Many fond memories. Jim Kelly was the owner. Jiminy Peak bought it and shut it down. I don't think the county could support two areas so close to each other.

I remember thinking how small the furniture was compared to 21st century size people, in the LMA home Orchard House.

Connecticut has an ancient site called Gungywamp near Groton Connecticut. It's had been dated to about the year 1200 AD or earlier and has been attributed to early Celtic explorers which is quite interesting.

Unfortunately, the story is around here that the I believe middle eastern or asian family that lived there, had 2 little ones running around playing tag by the cliffs and the little girl lost her footing. It’s said the family’s trauma forced them to move. It is a real shame it’s been vandalized over the years. Used to be a gorgeous spot, now there isn’t a single window left on the house.
