More info: rjdgallery.com/artists/phillip-thomas/ The idea of studying at a "French Academy" in the United States is entrenched in cross-cultural pollination. I intend to manufacture cultural reliquaries, artifacts and social curiosities that represent the cultural tapestry of the Caribbean and the wider "new world," using mediums and other agents of the old world....
MARGO SELSKI - RJD Gallery Artist Spotlight 2013

More info: rjdgallery.com/artists/margo-selski/ I currently share my world with several dozen paintings, three university courses that I teach, three young children, and one husband. I am kept running a path through my day. The way is patched with detours, but the perimeters are permanent. However, in the center of the labyrinth perches a blank canvas. It is my empty orchestra. My work may seem...

ANDREA KOWCH - RJD Gallery Artist Spotlight 2013
Переглядів 13 тис.11 років тому
More info: rjdgallery.com/artists/andrea-kowch/ The stories and inspiration behind my paintings stem from life's emotions and experiences, resulting in narrative, allegorical imagery that illustrates the parallels between human experience and the mysteries of the natural world. The lonely, desolate American landscape encompassing the paintings' subjects serves as an exploration of nature's sacr...
❤
She’s a modern-day genius.
It's almost as though she paints over photographs
Andrea does not paint over photographs and uses multiple very fine brushes, and some artworks have taken 9 months, like The Courtiers, to 2 years to complete, like the recent "Without Measure."
💝🎼🌹
You have a brilliant talent.
An incredible artist who's imagination I can only envy from afar
I love her paintings. Intriquing. Everything is perfect for me.
Thank you! You learn more about Andrea and see her works through the link in the header above.
Wonderful craftsmanship, but so thought provoking and emotionally moving.

Shared with amazement
I live near the Whitney museum wish Andrea had a show there would Love to see her painting up close. Love her work. ❤️
Her works are just beautiful....it's hard to give a huge compliment without sounding cliche but it fits. They just draw you in and they beg to wonder: what is going on here? What is the story? and I love that. I love the mystery of not knowing.
Seeing the actual models that she used in her work was a very special treat indeed. I have new ideas, thank you for the powerful inspiration.
Yes, you can see Wyeth in her atmospheric work. Even when the wind blows through her scenes, they appear very still and paused in a way that chews into your subconscious processes. I'm trapped when I encounter an Andrea Kowch painting.
Bucolic Symbolism? When I arrive at a painting that stops me in my daily sift through online imagery, and I pause at length to take it all in, that's a powerful moment for me. Andrea's realism and dreamlike atmospheres are, well something not easily described. I'm glad she's in the world, sharing.
Thank you Frederick for your kind words and we feel the same way! Visit us at our website if you want more details about her available work, including the limited edition signed print of "The Courtiers" featured in this video. Happy New Year!
A friend just shared this video.😍😍 I Love your work. I've been rescuing sandhill cranes for over 22 yrs. Come to Florida n go rescuing with me.

I feel she is too white in her work.
Olağanüstü ressam 🎨 👍
To get the kind of flexibility that she gets in acrylics is unbelievable.
I'm in awe of her . .......and she has produced a massive amount of fantastic art , and she's so young, will we ever see any of it here in Ireland , fingers crossed.
Andrea Kowch has become my favorite artist of all time. Unfortunately I never had the chance to see her artwork live. She has been a big inspiration and major influence for me. It all started with this video.
🖤
I miss you in Ellensburg!!
Well done
Amazing art!!!!
i know right! shes very good
so lucky she gets to do this for a living, talent and hard work of course but lucky!
So jealous not only is she talented she's beautiful too
She is inspiring, love to her❤️
I love her art. Is my mind dream on each painting.
Wow, not only is Andrea’s Art beautiful but she is absolutely gorgeous! This is the type of paintings that need to be hanging at the MET and Tate Modern. It saddens me that the mainstream public knows nothing about masterful work like Andrea’s. So sad.!
Dear Zenkiea, Thank you for the message, and we at RJD Gallery have passed it on to Andrea Kowch, and she was very happy!! The public knows, we've sold all of her potential original artwork through 2018, sight unseen, and are quickly selling out her limited edition archival prints as well. THANK YOU AGAIN! RD
very clever!
amazing art .... beautiful artist !
Her paintings are amazing! I wish she'd have a showing here in Salt Lake City. I would love to see her work in person.
ME TOO!!! I would love to see things in person.
