Just had a fellow mechanic change the hose in my F20, without any experience with this engine. Took him 7 hours to diagnose, remove everything on top and fix the issue. Way cheaper than an official BMW workshop, but next time I will do it myself thanks to this video. You are a true hero! Btw: My guts telling me that BMW is doing it the same way you did it but they charge customers the time it takes to rip everything apart.

No youre supposed to charge more because youre on site. Get a placard for your truck, and a few tshirts that say you. And dont give on the price. Skilled labor is that for a reason, you bothered to learn the skills. They pay.

Tools, gas, and shop supplies don't just fall from the sky. The only thing that is falling is sweat from the brow. 130 is a perfectly reasonable price. I hope those prices go up to 150 during the winter.

Before doing the job you should've asked do they have a driveway and if not don't take the job. So stop complaining and do the work...

Gonna need it if and when you make a mistake or have one of those legal type situations come up with a disgruntled customer that having insurance and licences would really help out in not destroying you financially

In a shop you can get jobs done much faster. I would hope your hourly rate is less if you're doing the same job while taking longer to do it. I agree that coming to someone's house is a premium service, and you should charge more for that, but if it's a job that they could drive to a shop for, that's different.

Same skill and still cheaper than a shop. Learn how to twist bolts and avoid going into shock when you rip off a knuckle or pay.

Replaced both sides still knocking noise from rear Also replaced springs, shocks, all link arms. Still have no idea what makes this noise

There is a service campaign 477 "engine oil label check" the correct oil is 10w60. There was an error from the factory. The label you show is for a v8. The v6 takes 10w60. Not sure why, but that's the correct weight.
