Camel's Hump Hike
Переглядів 1647 років тому
I had originally hoped to put this footage together in a more presentable fashion after my Vermont visit last year. This is a montage of my visit to Camel's Hump in Vermont back in August 2016. "Find the River" by R.E.M. came to mind as an appropriate accompaniment to the sites and emotions of that day.

A Tribute to Buddy Rich - Basically Blues
my goddddd, Erics voice is amazing
Beautiful job on the video Mr. Boskey and of course fantastic job by super talented Mr. Gillette. Such an incredible musician. I'm somewhere between impressed and annoyed with his drumming. Hanging around with Mike Portnoy and taking notes he's got drumming chops that a lot of us guys took years to figure out! Reminds me of when I had the pleasure to jam with Paul Gilbert when he was a mere lad of 16. I left my drums there for a couple of days and when I went back he said "check this out" and proceeded to tear my set up with drum riffs! Pretty impressive and annoying! I wasn't going to touch his guitar...
Amazing music 👍🎼
Does Eric know about this vid?
Yes he does 👍🏻
This needs more attention
Damn !!!!. what a song this beatiful 😍😍
Hey Eric. See you at the NMB show Cleveland OHio. Gonna be another great show.
What really grips me is the rhythm behind the intro when it goes into the higher register. The complexity of the chords and progression is unreal. I play it over and over. And at the outro as well.
It's Steve Gadd on this tune! 🙂
Very cool video. It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well!
The bass line in the chorus really does so much for the song that it makes me say what next.......and in general just such a masterpiece ...
Great observation 👍🏻
Que artista genial.
ha greath song !! and the "magnifique" vidéo !!! eric from France
hey eric je ne comprend pas toutes les paroles !! mais je suis sur que ce sont de belles choses !! et votre voix est magnifique !! eric from France
Superb! Good work Eric
I wonder why Eric didn't play all the instruments himself (surely he can play bass as well?) I hate him. There should be rules against one guy having a great voice, being an amazing guitarist, and being so much better looking than me all at the same time. I hate Eric.
I mean Thomas Lang on drums is pretty sick
This could easily be an official video. Great vid.
Melonology Appreciate the warm feedback 🤘🏻
Hi Daniel its been a long time. You told me about these guys on a train ride lol. Anyways love this group. Thanks for sharing
Wow 😮 this is so amazing!
NEIL PEART??
Steve Gadd I believe
@@danielboskey9382 Yes, man! This is Steve Gadd and his out-and-out swing-shuffle feeling, his unique ride steps, and sense of time
LOVE Eric, love this song, love the video! Awesome job!
Eric is in my opinion THE most talented multi-instrumentalist out there and his vocals are awesome too!! Check out his DRUMMING on the instrumental project " Tree of Life" .
Steven Wilson and Mariusz Duda are my favorite multi-instrumentalists/talents. But this guy...he can play the drums as well!
Melonology He can play keyboard also he actually started keyboards a 4 and guitar at 12.
Porcupine Tree vibe at 1:30
This song is HOPE!!!
Thanks for the response! Glad that the song was an encouragement! I felt the same way.
Masterpiece. Nothing more to say. Gillette, Tejeida, Lang and Green did a hell of a work, absolutely amazing
Wonderful video! Always makes me feel better about our world.
Thanks! Appreciate the compliment! Agree with you about the positive perspective as well.
Great job man !! Making music videos for prog songs is a lot of fun isn't it ;)
Thank you Marc! Appreciate the compliment. I am a big fan of your work as well. When I first saw your version of Infinite Fire by Flying Colors I knew I wanted to be making music videos like that. It left a profound impact on me. Thanks again from a fellow musician and musical enthusiast!
Daniel Boskey I love Marcs video of Infinite Fire also!!!
epic song, beautiful video!
What a fantastic song! Hats off to the prodigiously talented Eric Gillette. I discovered him through the Neal Morse Band, and I'm so glad to find his solo music. Daniel Boskey's video is strikingly beautiful, and fits the music perfectly. Well done!
Amazing video perfectly arranged for a terrific song; I'm a fan!
Fantastic vid, great job. I found out about Eric through Neal's band, I'm hopeful he continues to develop as a writer cuz he's sick talented. I'm hoping he's the guy that Neal passes the torch to some day in the very distant future.
Similar to how I found out about Eric Gillette as well. I had known about Neal for years but only recently discovered Eric. Thanks for the liking the video.
Perhaps you are getting your wish. Eric's vocals are more prominent than ever on the Neal Morse Band's newest project (Innocence & Danger), and the band has rebranded as NMB.
@@jimcarey7150 that's a good way to start the day
Oh man, how I LOVE Eric's voice !!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent "montage" for an epic song. Hats off, Daniel. Great work, I loved it... and thanks for posting this track, I didn't know about the personal compos from the "Morse compadre".
Much appreciated! Glad you liked the video!
Great song , awesome video
Thanks for that
Looks like you were sitting a few row in front of us. We were on the right along the ramp going down to the floor
Yes, I think I remember seeing you guys there. Just got to see them again a week and a half ago. Luckily I was right in front of the stage. Got a few more shots of the band...ua-cam.com/video/bekbpY7TXwg/v-deo.html

My son and I were there. Amazing show. Love to see the whole thing
Hey Michael. Here is all the footage that I recorded that evening. I didn't record the whole show but probably around half of it. ua-cam.com/video/hAae-ExVn6A/v-deo.html
Amazing quality, could you post the whole show?

What an awesome show. Thanks for the highlights.
So beautiful and precious pics/sharing. Great to keep up with you, even thru internet. I can relate to the hippy days....LOL. Praise the name of our Messiah and King Yahshua!
So good to catch up on all the years of growth, progress and blessings in your family. May the Lord continue to increase and bless even more in the coming years. Love you guys and so happy for you.
What an amazing video about an amazing man. Daddy of greats boys, an amazing family and is a wonderful husband and a wonderful example of godliness in YESHUA ...wow
This is a wonderful video! It is a beautiful thing to see Avner, Rachel, and their lovely family over the years. May the Lord continue to bless each one of you as you tell others of Yeshua, Mashiach and Adonai!
