    Looks awesome! Did you install the waterfall in a planter or something? How did you do that?

    • @1packmule
      @1packmule Місяць тому

      The waterfall is indeed inside a planter box I picked up a big box store. I just made a template and cut it out. I made a cover for the top out of decking boards to hide the internals. The planter was drilled out on bottom for the hose to come through, then secured with a couple of deck screws.

  • @amberaimshigh1

    How did you hook up the filter with the pool in ground. Did you make a box for it to sit in?

    • @1packmule
      @1packmule 2 місяці тому

      The pump is inside the storage building to keep it out of the weather. I’m guessing the hoses that came with pump are at least 10’ in length.

    It looks like you've added an underwater light to the pool - Can you give any details?

    • @1packmule
      @1packmule 2 місяці тому

      It’s a landscape light that I mounted to the underside of the deck and it’s facing the pool about 6 inches from the side. It’s on a timer just like the surrounding lights, actually it’s a left over light from the kit I bought.

    • @mr.firemonkey

    How did you handle the transition from the intex flex pipe to what I am assuming is rigid PVC underground?

    • @1packmule
      @1packmule 2 місяці тому

      There’s no transition. The hose is long enough to reach the waterfall and suction side of the pool. The pump is next to the back wall inside of the building.

    Outstanding job, do you mind me asking about how much you spent in lumber for the project? About how long did it take you.

    • @1packmule
      @1packmule Рік тому

      Lumber is about half of what I paid now, I built this at the height of the lumber prices. I would estimate approximately $500. The whole project took a couple of weeks working in the evenings. I have a video of start to finish on my channel. Almost a week was spent digging it out, with a shovel, and leveling it. That’s 2-3 hours in the evening, is all the time I had available each day.

  • @1packmule

      so what happens when the tank cracks and you need to replace it? youd need to lift the whole deck up to replumb the new tank.

    • @1packmule
      @1packmule Рік тому

      @@azartyn2906 These tanks are designed to be out in extreme weather conditions, they’ll last for years. The side where I drilled the hole for my suction line looked to be approximately 1/4 thick. This is not a flimsy plastic pool. If I ever do need to remove it, the deck boards are screwed down.

I know that word thanks is cheap these days, but it's Men like you who have shared idea's and let them stay up and not run off believing somebody promising a Million Bucks for this or that, when the priceless thing is sharing, that word sounded so weak for a lot of years until it became life or death, then all that John Wayne Crap went out the window.
