[JLPT N3] We don’t say ‘風邪がち’ to mean ‘I feel like I have a cold’.
[Student’s sentence]
昨日からちょっと風邪がちです。
*きのうからちょっとかぜがちです。
▼
▼
▼
[My correction]
昨日からちょっと風邪がちです。
→昨日からちょっと風邪気味です。
きのうからちょっとかぜぎみです。
I’ve been feeling slightly under the weather since yesterday.
〜がち
This means “tends to” or “happens often.” It usually describes something negative that happens frequently or repeatedly, which can make you feel worried or unhappy.
〜気味
This means you are “feeling a little” of something. It’s often used for mild symptoms, usually in a way that makes you worry a bit.
In this sentence, it should be 風邪気味, because it’s describing the feeling of having a cold.
Example:
田中さんは遅刻しがちです。
たなかさんはちこくしがちです。
Tanaka-san tends to be late.
私は少し疲れ気味です。
わたしはすこしつかれぎみです。
I’m feeling a bit tired.
I hope my explanation helps you.😊

Is it common in Japan for all employees to shout “Irasshaimase” as a greeting when each customer arrives?
Does "きれいじゃなくなかった" exist?
Thanks for your explanations!! Awesome

ちか先生のおかげで私の日本語の調子が改善された。本当にありがとう。
When I think in あとで as "later" or "afterwards" I understand it, but when using it in the same examples as あとに there is where I get lost. A japanese old lady youtuber said NI is used when both actions or elements of the sentence are related, and DE is used when the two are not related at all. Chat GPT says NI is to emphasize when both elements/actions follows one after the other immediately, and DE is when the second element/action happens in some point in the future but not necessarily immediately one after the other. The website TsukiGakkou says NI is more formal and DE is more casual. I still don't understand entirely. My guess Is that 食事の後に、映画を見ます。could mean "as soon as I finish to eat the meal I'll watch a movie ", and 食事の後で、映画を見ます。could be "when I finish to eat the meal I'll watch a movie later", but in english both versions are just translated as "after meal, I'll watch a movie".
Doumo...benkyou ni narimashita
すみませんが"銀行は閉まっています"と"銀行が閉まっています"."は"と"が" どちらが正しいですか?ほんとに分からない😢
両方でもいいんだよと思う
関心し過ぎないで、日本人もその”は”と”が”の文法が間違うそうだ。
If you use に in that sentence, it means "My homework will be done at xx:10."
Hello..... itsumo mite imasu
宿題は10分では終わりません
ありがとうございます 先生
❤
素敵😀💓!
かんしょう has 20 meanings so I think pitch accent is useless with homophones that have an excessive number of meanings.
Yo a lo español ❤❤❤❤
ありがとうございます❤
ありがとうございます先生!「植物園でパンダが食べています」って言えますか?
Yes. Everytime you want to specify a place where something HAPPENS, you use the particle で. And everytime you want to specify that someone or something EXISTS in a place, you use the particle に. Everytime you use がある or がいる at the end of a phrase and you have to say the place you need to add に right after the place. Examples: 学校で本を読みます。 学校に本があります。
E quase como ce fosse uma virgula
ありがとうございます 😊
Great video need more view😊 ... .. . . Maybe, maybe i'll buy your crouse. 😊
great explanation ❤ you are underrated ❤❤
This is a great explanation! Thanks!
とか&とis it difference?
とか is for when there are other things that you didn't mentioned. Like "in my bag there is a pencil, there is a pen... (BUT THERE ARE ALSO OTHER THINGS THAT I DIN'T SAY"). と when you are specifying ALL the things like: I will eat BANANAS and GRAPES. (only that!!!) / I went to the movies with my little brother and my little sister (ONLY THEY went with me).
すみませんですが"日本語の勉強に行きます"と"日本語を勉強しに行きます"とどちらも正しいですか?外に"スーパーへ買いに行きます"と"スーパーに買いに行きます"とどちらが正しいですか?どうもすみません
ありがとうございます

tan facil que seria escribir el japones con el romaji, usando acentos y olvidandonos de los kanjis, pero les gusta complicarse la existencia
