9:20 i think this is part of the mb+ mod. they add cities of wonder where every important city is level 5 holding. like some cities in china and india and bagadad and constantnople. my guess is that city was important in the silk road trade route thus making it a city of wonder. there is a decition to see all cities of wonder in the map

"Alba" isn't pronounced quite how you think: It's an untranslated Gaelic word, and if it's spelling were to match it's pronunciation in English it would likely read as "Alipa", with emphasis on the al rather than lip. Alba was one of the precusors kingdoms that was consumed into the medievil kingdom of Scotland; When you say it's related to Britannia you're possibly confusing it with Albion, which is from the word the Greeks used to describe the northwestern european archipelago that today we (mostly) call Britain. To my knowledge, there's no link whatsoever between Albion and Alba.

Try making a cult as a landless adventurer, I believe you can spread it via decision if you are using the learning tree but that might be assassins-specific (forgot his name)

The cheapness may be how close you are to the religion and since you are in the East i wouldve recommended Nestorian or some type of eastern christianity but im not too sure

Well, if you do create the mongol Empire, which is quite easy if you have any idea about what you are doing, then suddenly the mongol Empire allows a world conquest. So with that caveat, I don't think the mongol Empire belongs to the worst Empire. I wouldn't recommend having it as a permanent base though, so I will give you that.

You should get the "In my humble opinion" mod which shows your characters opinion of other people alongside their opinion of you. I found it enlightening to see how often my character despised someone who liked them or vice versa. It might help inform your decision making if you want to do this again.

Yoooo Bashkir is one of the best starts in the game for a DIY nomadic invasion run. Form the kingdom, take perm and hybridise to get forest wardens plus forest folk for insane Forest terrain buffs and the best non-horse archer in the early game, and then Legendary adventure to somewhere in Europe and get pillaging. Prussia is perfect for a first stop (or settle and take the empire) but I once sent my Bashkir horse archers all the way down to Gascogne and made a new kingdom of Bashquiria. Might do this again and invade Cornwall then switch to Tall mode.

This is how i play grand strategy games, mount and blade, etc, i kind of view all of these games as "strategy roleplaying games" its the most fun way to learn, and the best way to keep it fresh once you've been olaying for a while, you can try out different things and if you fail its all part of the story. And it's much more memorable.
