ignore the music thing I was watching UA-cam on my other monitor.
You from Toronto? I’m building this tomorrow thx for the diy
Vancouver. Hopefully you got it done!
How did you attached to the wall?
long wood screws on the side
How did you hang it up?
How do you dust or clean them?
Love the idea 💡 but just thinking how much dust cars would collect?! What could be used to prevent dust collection that wont break the bank?
My room stays fairly clean. The one I showcase in the intro have been on my wall for over two years and there are barely any dust. You can maybe try to close it off with some transparent acrylic sheets, that should work.
You said you need two wood screws per row but i dont see any indentions on the side? Am i missing something?
I think the angle I took the video at hides them. Look at the intro clip, you'll see the screws on the side.
I had the same problem, this guy gave me an idea.. Hmmmm, salutas
I like this idea for my customs
Love this idea. I will make them like yours but was thinking maybe painting dark or light gray. Much better than going out and spending 💰 on a small one that is not custome. 💪🏻
Best bang for the buck in my opinion. Would look great painted!
Thanks for the info . And Nice Gulf collection my Friend
The ideal spacing between the shelves is 1.75 inches or 2 inches. The Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars will not look crowded and there is enough space for the boxes. 😃
I went to purchase this same wood and it is $2.80 per ft. And each piece of wood is 8 feet so it was alot!
Should not be that expensive, make sure you're getting the right ones! www.homedepot.ca/product/1x2x8-framing-lumber/1000173739
Highly customizable I like that thank you very much for the video
Brilliant!
Looks great 👍 I use a drip edge for over doors to display mine. It's aluminum easy to cut . Thanks for sharing 😊
Pretty hip ! I made a frame almost exactly like yours but I used 1/4" plywood for the shelf pieces allowing more than twice the storage in the same space ! 😎
Pretty awesome solution! Thanks for sharing
Thank You So Much! YOU RAWKED IT! Your video is PERFECTION! LOVE YOUR DISPLAY-hope mine gona look jus like urs!!👊🏻💥
nice! subscribed!
Nice idea and great execution. The shelves look great. Solid video.
Thanks, glad you like it!
Very cool DIY but do you like the idea to having to dust them from time to time seeing that there is no barrier like a clear acrylic coving them up ?
The first one of these I've built have been on my wall for over a year now and I've only notice some dust on the very top layer so far. I guess it depends on how clean your room is but hasn't been a problem for me.
Them are nice they'd look good stained an polyed.great job bud 👍🍻
