My story
I’ve dabbled in many hobbies, but one thing that has always been a passion is gardening.
Most of my gardening knowledge comes from mistakes I have made over the years.
Moving to Florida, zone 10b - 11a has changed all the rules! I’m learning more and more about tropical gardening daily. It has been incredibly rewarding.
Currently my passions shine in growing a wide variety of hot peppers and coleus, along with a variety of tropical plants and trees.
Please join me in this new adventure! Any additional information, comments or suggestions you can share is greatly appreciated.

Jade Palace is one of my favorite plants for its amazing foliage. Join me as I try to create our first Bonchi for the garden. Added burlap ribbon that was already in the house to a simple clothing hanger. Basic floral tape was used to secure the branches. Hand braided the rest of the branches and removed a few more to control the shape. Any ideas or suggestions? Have you tried a Bonchi yet? Ple...

You are braver than me for trying that while recording!! Kudos for talking through the pain and congrats on 4 years. I always enjoy seeing your giant pepper plants!
Thank you so much!! 😊 If I can do it, anyone can! lol 😝
Awesome video! Very excited on hearing your thoughts on the other peppers. Thank you for teaching me SO much!
Thanks again for the Hotmail! It really is amazing how much you have learned in such a short time. All of your hard work paid off, your pods are simply beautiful!
I always love seeing your beautiful garden! Thanks for helping make the community such a friendly, welcoming space <3
So nice of you, happy you found us!
This community is awesome indeed ❤That's a lot of growth in 4 years 😮Those Jade Palace 💚💜So pretty! And you are brave! I don't usually eat peppers raw either, but when I want to taste them I usually just try the tip to get the taste and not melt my face off 😄
Oh I hear you, no need to melt off your face 🥵 But for Bacon’s first cross, definitely worth it, fantastic flavor. Hope are having a productive harvest this fall. 🌶️
@@mojosgarden3576 It was a pretty pod as well! Sadly my balcony isn't doing too well. The tree just outside my house has grown too big and blocks the sun, so the plants just grow long and floppy, looking for sun... Luckily I put a couple of plants at my parents house and the look like they'll be fairly productive 🤞
Always stoked to see that new update.. Hope all is well, beautiful board of pods🤙 Always much love Mojo.. from Vero 🌱🌶
I’m excited about so much in the garden and the community coming up this fall. Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us too! Bacon went full out this year, yes, the pods are looking fabulous. Definitely will share more information about them when we can.
What beautiful pods, plants, and pup! ❤ Completely agree that a community of like-minded folk makes everything way more fun!
Absolutely!! I totally agree 🌸
That's gonna be a *lot* of basil! 😄
Already getting bigger 🌿 Thanks for watching! 🤠
Thanks for showing the process! Great tip on separating them in water
Thanks Yip, basil smells so good it’s wonderful to have it all around the home.
I'm always tempted by their mint plants. So many herbs have such an amazing smell.
You know mint would be great for winter. I just seem to keep killing it here during the summer months. Thanks Bean
@mojosgarden3576 I keep a lot of the herbs in my bay window in my kitchen. I planted some mint in my raised bed and it took over and spilled to my yard. When I mowed it was like an amazing scratch and sniff.
Nice variety. What is this one called? Possible to buy from seeds for us who lives in Sweden?
Under the Sea - barracuda Thanks for watching. We are currently still developing and have yet to open a shop. Please subscribe to our channel for further updates.
🐸🌴🦋🎍Those flowers are so purty! And that trellis looks like it could hold anything you can imagine 😄
Yes, the flowers are beautiful, wishing they would stay longer than a single day. Thank you, happy you like the trellis. It’s already been tested under 60 mph winds.
@@mojosgarden3576 😮that's some mighty strong winds!
This turned out so great! Incredible work Mojo!
Thanks, it’s so nice to watch the butterflies from the kitchen window. Have a wonderful weekend!
That's going to be awesome! I'm trying to grow some over the walkway on my porch to my front door. Training a vine now for it.
Commented before seeing progress 😅looks great!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed. Hopefully you will achieve the look you are looking for. 🌺 Beautiful flowers!
I love Coleus!! I grow them in Colorado. Your different colors are beautiful! thanks for sharing a few tipS
The Under the Sea - Barracuda is the one I mostly work with, the leaves change color depending on the light and heat. It is almost like having an entirely new look every few months. Glad to hear you also grow coleus. Thank you for watching. 🌺
Eminem should be proud
Haha, wonder if he has a garden? Thanks 😊
Planting the entire tray as-is is a big brain move. 🧠🧠 Love it!
Anything not to have to dig in Florida. 🫠 Thanks for watching.
💜 it! I look forward to seeing progress updates on it!
Will do!! The plant is blessed with lacewing and ladybugs 🐞 so it will grow well!
Very creative. Nice ladybug cameo.
Many many thanks 💜
So many pretty plants (as usual) 😍And those rock labels are just 👌
It was my DiL’s idea. Just love them! 💜 Thanks for your support.
Your garden looks beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by the channel.
amazinggg, LOVE it, Mojo!
Glad you like it! Thanks so much 💜🌸💜
So fabulous, such a great job! Thanks for teaching us all!
So nice of you, thanks! Looking forward to sharing more when the garden in front is finished. 🦋
Makes me think of the people that slowly build a forest over time in a barren area. Beautiful work!
It’s been so much fun filling up the yard. Thanks for watching 🌸
Excellent video! Mojo is the person who turned me on to coleus a few years back and now I always have some propagating :-) Thank you for making this video, I hope it inspires lots of people to join in the fun of growing these beautiful plants.
Wonderful to hear that you have been inspired to grow coleus. Truly a labor of love to keep the gardens fresh and full. Thank you for sharing. 🌺🌸🌺
100% - I have what I think will be the perfect spot for them. And now I know it can be done lazily, so win win.
Those flowers are so different (and pretty) 😍Do they taste good? 🤔
It has a very unusual flavor, fruity taste without the heat. Closest thing that comes to mind would be a purple grape. 🍇
They look like little berries. Awesome flowers.
They are super pretty, stands out in the crowd 🌶️
Astonishing wild species! I've only had success with Capsicum lanceolatum and Capsicum caatingae this year. My Capsicum rhomboideum seeds didn't germinate.
Oh wow, congrats on the Lanceolatum! Currently working on getting mine to bud. Looking forward to the beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing and good luck this season. 👍
Those flowers are so different!
The flowers truly are unique, imagine finding something so beautiful in the wild. Thanks for stopping by the channel PG.
Great little feature on this wild capsicum! I have yet to grow them, I will live through your videos :-)
Glad to share, thanks Baus!
Your garden (and puppy) are gorgeous!
Thank you so much. Moxxi really is the best. Glad you enjoyed 🌿🌶️🌿
Very Nice👍👌
So nice, thanks for stopping by.
Awesome plant - i assume its early f1 or f2 . Any indication on heat level and taste please . Nice video but put mic a bit closer as your very softly spoken
Hey Gary, thanks for stopping by the channel! Yes, the Limelight is an F2. The plant(s) show is now over a year old, some just like to take their own time. It is only one of two plants that carried out more of the V. Beni Highland look with neon yellow pods. Medium to low heat with a flavor profile that can easily go with anything, but would recommend fish or seafood. The rest of the Jade Palace plants have been progressing much faster and now starting F5. Forgive me, the sound quality was definitely off. Still trying to figure things out when it comes to production. Good luck this season!
Such a stunning looking plant. Both versions. I love those leaves that are half dark and half light green 💚
I totally agree! Looking forward to having stable plants soon. Thanks for watching! 🌶️
Nice foliage! The video's a little quiet but I turned my volume up and can hear everything just fine
Hey there, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the Limelight.
What a stunner!
Thanks Baus! 😊💜
It is going to be toasty this summer. I made sure not to have a thermometer after i saw it read 110 one time. Sometimes you just don't want to know.
Feast or famine. Definitely could use some more mild rain. Hang in there my friend, here’s to hoping for a fantastic season 😁
Such a cute puppy!😍Wow, those Coleus cuttings have grown! Those drawers are almost as pretty as the plants growing in them. The Jade Palace is such a pretty plant, and I love that deep almost rust orange color on the pods! Haha it looks like you turned the Rabenii plant upside down almost. And I see that the Rhomboideum just keeps wanting to grow 😄Thanks for another lovely tour of your always so gorgeous garden! 🙇
Thanks so much. I was just eyeing all of the pods on the Jade Palace. Will definitely work in a harvest video soon, it’s delightful to show the neon yellow inside. Good luck getting your plants out. 🤍
@@mojosgarden3576 You are, as always, most welcome! Can't wait for the harvest video! And thanks. I'm working on getting them hardened off at the moment 💪
Beautiful as always! 😍And I would probably need my own umbrella for shade if I lived where you live 🥵
Hopefully things will cool off soon, but the plants seem mostly fine. The umbrellas are truly a game changer. Thanks for watching my friend 😃
@@mojosgarden3576 Haha well might be better if you could meet somewhere in the middle! Not too hot, not too cold. Just perfect 👌☂And you are, as always, most welcome 🙇
@@PreatorRaszagal deal!
Awesome video as always 🤙🌶much love from Vero
Thank you! Cheers!
Do you worry that all those umbrellas will attract Mary Poppins?! Great video, shade is definitely important for plants on hot sunny days!
Oh yes, it would be fun to meet her, lol Thanks Baus, good luck this season
Don’t you know she is Mary Poppins?
@@davesurfer now THIS i can believe!
Such a nice space. Looks great!
Thank you! 😊 Let’s hope for some mild rain ☔️
Thank you for sharing this update! Moxxi is adorable, and seems really well behaved, had to share her lil voice!! Your garden is looking amazing, as always :-) The Jade Palace project is an inspiration, really really cool!
Thank you so much! That means a bunch to me 🤍🐰🤍
You aren't kidding. I was trying to find a node and cut it with my razor. My mother in law walked up and ripped some off the plant and handed them to me. All rooted and survived.
Love to hear this. So much fun!
So many pretty variegated and purple plants 😍And all those Coleus 💜💚Wow! That Rhomboideum is reaching for the sky! Love the little hidden tomatoes 😃And great find, that statue! One man's trash is another man's treasure 👍
Things are really starting to get going, already need to share more. Good luck with your grow this season, my friend. As always, thank you for your support. 🦋🤍🦋
@@mojosgarden3576I would love to see more 😃Thanks for the good luck wishes, and the same to you (thought by the looks of if you don't need it hehe)😜And as always, you are most welcome!
Your garden is a tropical oasis.
Let’s hope for a mild summer this year. 🤞 Last season was a bit rough for us. Looking forward to seeing your garden this year Mr Bean. Thanks for your support.
"This is a pepper garden." That coleus had me fooled!
😂😂😂 You know I have to sneak them in videos. Thanks for watching my friend. 🌸
Been a bit ,but great to see you back🤙looking good, looking good.. always much love from Vero
Awww, thank you for stopping by, planning to share more with the community this season. 🌶️
wonderful!
Thank you! Cheers! 🌶️🤍🌶️
Everything looks amazing!
Thanks for watching. Hopefully your season is also off to a great start! 👍
i got seeds for a ninfadora cross, im pretty curious how it will do, the variegation is almost like cammo
Sure is a beautiful plant, both the original green and yellow and the darker one with purple. As far as taste goes, they are a bit warmer than many, but it seems like the burn goes away quickly. Thanks for watching.
