Omar was born in Halden Norway Dec. 21 1893.He was the sixth of eight children born to John and Ingebord Schau. On Aug.21,1915 he married Signe Langhei, native of Minnesota and fathered six children, Helen, John, Agnes, Solveig, Ralph, and Eva. Mrs Schau passed away in 1933.

I love it..... Our family has been going to Sekiu since the late 70's... Boy how things have changed.... Omar and his family remind me of my grandparents etc.... Looks like he lived a blessed life!
2 things come to mind. Which makes this a sad but true video. 1. Nice videos to show how life looked like back in the 40's 2. The eff'd up part is all you see are white folks catching fish and no colored people around.

this is awesome! crazy how much bigger the chinook were back then.... Lets hope they recover the best they can.
LoL...they still get that big. They are being overfished at sea by chinese fishing vessels and now the return numbers are very low. Dams aren't helping, but there have been record setting runs while the dams have been there.
