As a Prototype fan it hurts me to say that at this point a new or remastered Prototype Game seems impossible in our lifetime

A remaster is what's needed, a little improvement would work such as the difficulty which all my years was f_cking bullshit and saw the deaths of several controllers over the years. The story is not the best but its far from the worst. Basically it was Jason Bourne meets Resident Evil meets Venom meets the Thing meets Parasyte. The twist on Alex Mercer not actually being Alex Mercer but rather the virus itself was a twist ill admit i did not see coming and its been a thing that stuck in my mind all these years. Now if a remake were to be considered, then they will absolutely have to be incredibly faithful to the original Prototype, im talking gameplay that feels not only modern but also familiar. In this age, there is either a remake or a remaster, and its very anxiety inducing to see which one Prototype falls in. I see my friend you have a passion for Prototype, very great to meet a fellow fan on the Prototype series, easily one of the greatest, even if its underrated

Honestly the real question is that should there be a third game or just a full blown remaster/remake, because its been 12 years since Prototype 2 and all these years both games have had such a huge impact on our childhood that years later when it comes to talking about Prototype, the obvious question is: where do we go from there? Logically a Prototype 3 is basically the candidate for the next step given how pretty damn good Prototype 2 did but because Radical ( the studio that made both games ) closed down, its pretty difficult to find a company that is willing to put to work on a potential third game and lets not forget that they have to live up the legacy of the first two games should P3 be successful. The second is obviously a remake/remaster because its been 12 years since the last game and because interest for the franchise as far as game studios are concerned is as dead as Alex Mercer. Im hoping the franchise continues either way because these two games, especially the first, are literally my childhood

P1 Mercer Comic Mercer And P2 Mercer are so incredibly paradoxal from one another. P1 he realizes that he s a virus and decides to hold a moral ground by not letting a warhead destroy the city. Comic Mercer decides that humanity isn't worth saving over some low lifers that scrwed with him (as if something like blackwatch didn't tried to end his life on a constant) P2 Mercer changes his mind and says that humanity needs to receive his "gift" so that wars and all problems would stop (even if they would techincally not stop since he couldn't even control Sabrina and Heller, let alone all of humanity. Blacklight on global scale would bring literal anarchy not order.)

Guys has anyone heard of rtx remix? It is a software that can remaster video games and it is Nvidia's software. I wish someone use that software. But I think it cannot upscale the character models as I havn't seen a single video with better character models. But overall if it can make the textures of the enviroment better. It is a win win situation I think. I am skeptical about upgrading the character as it uses ai to imporve the textures and graphics. It would be better if done manually as it would feel mode detailed in my opinion.

India, Russia and China all come under Asia but we are so different from each other for example I am from India, here people eat with hands and are very diverse on the basis of caste gender etc. Russia is more america having white people and eating with forks and spoons. But there are a people who we call Nepali. Some live in India and are like migrated but a long time ago they have small eyes but are not like chises who eat anything and some live in Nepal, a neighbouring country of India. and about that whole history and culture thing well most people in India don't respect the beautiful culture and presiouc history. Prototype 3 with mod support and the gore dialed up to 11 would sell like hotcakes. Imagine the FED printing money, but it's the Publisher and they don't print it but people giving them money. Coherent story is optional.

I personally like the costumization idea for the co op mode, for the players to not be always Mercer clones. There is a lot of OCs in internet that make good designs

We pray that the "agenda" does not come to this game, but my opinion is that it's better to make a remake, keep the basic foundation and concept and let the plot change silently. What we have from two parts, alas, needs to be changed a little. And yes, I'm a big fan of stealth, it would be great if it were redone and not just made easy. After all, why do we need a disguise then? And may God make Gentek stronger, it's flawed with only small radars for the entire base. Then it will make sense to somehow destroy the bases from the inside, for example, killing officers unnoticeably so that they do not call for help, or give orders for the main strike forces to leave the base, buying us precious time for something. At best case scenario: the franchise is canned. The OG crew at the date is not working on nothing prototype related and after the microsoft announce we only get silence. But if it a new Prototype game will happen i wish a deeper connection with the Supreme Hunter, because on P1 feels like a big enemy to beat instead a Mercer enemy like Cross, Randall or Greene.

i find it hilarious that a game can be great if you have moderately - very attractive looking women as playable characters or intriguing NPC's that arent self inserted a-holes thats made for a message rather than be their own characters ....looking at you concord...

14:22 to be honest this is how I feel about Activision. I don’t really expect anything new or good from that company. I am a big Prototype fan. I miss that franchise, but how some corporate executives thinks. I don’t think I’ll ever see that franchise ever come back again, but if it does, I will generally be surprised and happy. Because the only game that was semi-close enough to scratch my Prototype itch that came out recently was Spider-Man 2. I would love to have another Prototype.
