Great content Jason! I was hoping to rollover in action - if the rollover is set at 2000 and the run hours go over 2000, that triggers a WO and now that meter resets from 0. Lets say it is now 2031 which means it should just get the 31 since 2000 WO was generated and rolled over? Can you please confirm! I am doing this using JSON API and it throws an error saying "The new reading (31) entered on 12\/31\/20 1:41 AM should be greater than the previous reading". This meter is continuous meter type, Reading type - Actual, Rollover - 2000. Thanks for your help!

Sir, I removed child asset from its parent from the defined position, now the position of this child is empty in this parent asset..but when I am going to its child it's showing parent. And now I am unable to install this child asset to any other parent asset. Please assist sir

If I want a list of boilers - I use failure class. I thought rotating items is to be able to track rebuilds. for instance, if I replace a motor and send the one I took out for bearing replacement, then the part # stays the same on the rebuild and I have a functional spare in inventory.

Hello good afternoon, My name is Miguel Hunter, I'm a warehouse supervisor at the company Cargill de Venezuela S.R.L and we use it as a management system Maximo 7.6. I would like to opt for your help and advice to improve certain aspects of the store. We currently have approximately 20 pumps in various locations in the company, each with a serial. Sometimes these pumps are replaced or moved from one place to another to repair certain faults, in addition to that they tend to undergo modifications in their internal components (Axes, Motor). I want to learn in what way I can know exactly the locations of these pumps, besides being able to verify the history with date of each maintenance performed ... for this I need to create each component of the pump as a rotating item? How can I know the exact location and maintenance history? Thanks, I hope your quick answers

So what triggers the person entering in the meters to do so? Do you do it in a separate PM that states, "take meter readings"? can you do a PM that ties directly to the asset meter readings?

Hey Jason, when adding items to my storeroom they are defaulting to NS, despite being STK at the Item Master level. How do you change the Stock Category of the storeroom itself? Or am I missing something?

Jason, great video. Can you create meters to locations instead of assets or how you create meters to multiple assets within one PM? For e.g. we have to record time in seconds of multiple pull down fire alarms throughout the building and we go by locations and not by assets. We list the locations as tasks on a Job Plan, any suggestions?
