Another demo of my cool vintage Silvertone. No pedals just amp. I know my playing wasn't great. I was just kinda making it up as I went. The amp is for sale locally.

Plugged inwith my 2005 Gibson SG special faded w/ Burtsbucker in the bridge and 57 classic in the neck. Note: The rattling sound in the background is a snare drum.

I'm 28 and just started skating every day again. Haven't done much for the past 8 years. I was just playing with IMovie and put these clips together. Filmed at Poplar Bluff Skate Plaza in downtown Poplar Bluff, MO.

The same as part 1 but less hum. I went direct in to the amps instead of using the ABY box. Must be a ground loop or something. I messed with the polarity of both amps but nothing changed.

A quick look at my Silvertone 1483 and my uncle's 1981 Peavey Classic vxt. The Peavey is a backwards hybrid solid state/ tube amp with 2 6l6GCs in the power amp. By now most people know what the Silvertone is.

Hey dave, here's my 54 harmony. sorry the video is so long.

They’re pretty loud
Hello. I bought the head, but thinjk have to much humm. What do you think ? does you notices lot of hum when is in high whats? thanks
Cluster Pluck! Nice!
Hi, do you know what the speaker ohm out is on the back of the head?
Stevie thx!!!!!!
Ever sell this?
Love the color scheme!!!!
Love the color scheme!!!! Thank you for not painting it white!! I can't wait to see it done!
Sounds like it was plenty loud enough to wake the in-laws. But maybe that was by design...
I love watching these videos of the transformation of your house but I do have a small request regarding future videos. Could you move the camera a little slower and also let it linger a little longer in places where you pause, please? Sometimes the camera needs a few seconds to focus and then allowing the viewer a few more seconds to absorb what's being seen would be nice. Thank you! PS...I love this house and excitent to see what the two of you have planned fot it! I'm sure it will be fabulous!
Finally a good review lol Ik it’s been out along time but lol every thing is shaking Around the camera so can’t be thin lol
Lots to do but it's gonna look cool Jake
Sorry the video quality isn't the best. My phone died a couple days after I shot this.
i love sg's just cant be beat imo
Some guys love Les Pauls and Strats. I love SGs and Teles!
Just Jake for me sg's and 335s hint chuck berry and cream :)
I demoed the Bassbreaker 45 next to my Laney AOR50 with a 412 cab. Thing roars so I bought it on clearance. So now its my only modern amp. Its also my second 212 combo. I also have a Carvin XV212 with stock G12M-70s also an amp ahead of its time. I generally play only SGs but the BB45 can pretty much make any guitar sound amazing. Very warm amp and I think that the stock Groove Tubes are the real Achilles heal for this amp. Since my amp was a demo model ( no shame in used) the speakers are pretty broken in. It cannot come close to the gain levels of ether the Laney or the Carvin but what it does do aka Bassman 59 or Bluesbreaker for the poor it does really well. This demo shows both and you will see that the BB 45 has a little more darkness and compression than the Marshall: ua-cam.com/video/OB6QGPvYJMo/v-deo.html
Jesus Loves You
I loved my 45. Been trying out new pedals. Mythos Mjolnir really sounds great
Great demo dude! Sounds Great in the big ol' room!! I'd like to try that amp into a 412 loaded with Scumbacks!! Hahaha
I Love this amp BUT this video is terrible,
Sorry man. I made it on a wild hair. One day I will make good videos lol. Thanks for watching anyway.
The video is fine
Every time you hit an E power chord it just begged to have Jailbreak played on it. It just has that tone. Good demo too btw
Thanks man!
But doesn't that start on an A. A E E FF EEE FE ....
Jake good day, sorry I bother with a comment like this but I cant find many info online and there's not a lot of reviews of people actualy having this amp. I have had this amp for about 2 months (got it brand new), and Ive been experiencing some little issues, from time to time, there's a sudden volume drop that comes and goes. I looked the amp from behind and I can see the 2 big tubes and 3 small ones. The 2 big tubes and 2 of the small ones look red glowing when amp is on but the small one on the middle looks off, at least from the angle I can look at it. Unfortunately , the store where I got it dont have any warranty over tubes and I dont want to open up the amp unless is truly necesary. I was wondering if you have experienced this volume drop issues on your amp, maybe Im doing something else wrong... someone told me I had to let my amp "warm up" for at least 10 minutes before starting playing, and that I had to put the amp on STAND BY for other 10 minutes before turning it off , but dont know if all of that is true. I just would like to have an opinion of an actual owner of an amp like this.
Sounds like a bad or weak tube to me. I have not had this problem with mine though. If it is the small tube in the middle that is one of your preamp tubes. Its should be a 12AX7 tube. It is a very common and inexpensive tube to replace. I would ask around and find a good Amp tech in your area and have him take a look at the amp. I'm gonna bet its the tube though. Tubes are easy to replace.
Thanks for your kind answer, I took the amp to a tech and figured out that the problem was the cheap Made in china daisy chain I was using on my effect pedals. Turns out that my reverb consumed more than the daisy chain could take and every time I activated it , it drained power off of the other pedals causing that volume drop. Im using a boss pedalboard now and everything is just fine =)... about the tubes not lighting up, tech told me I was just looking at a wrong angle and explained to me that tubes sometimes are covered by something else. Thanks mr Just Jake for taking the time to respond!
I just sold my twin reverb 65 reissue and bought this amp. Do not regret it one bit. It's like a Twin that breaks up well.
Jeremy Shannon Dodge Cresswell i was looking for a 68 Twin Custom but then my brother told me about the new Bassbreaker, Now I'm looking forward to get my hands on a 45 real soon! love the tone of this amp.
Sounds damn good to me. Yeah I agree all the pro shot videos made it sound so thin and washed out. Nice demo.
No OD pedal? You're just pushing the tubes to get that awesome crunch?
It's all the amp. You can adjust the output from 45 watts down to 1 watt. So you can crank the volume control for to wake up the power tubes at a usable volume.
Very NICE! That variable wattage is such a great feature. Thanks for the demo.
Hey man im thinking of getting one of these for literally the sane reasons u mentioned lol however i do wish it had a 1x12 option, is weight/portability an issue at all? Thanx for the vid!
It's really not too heavy. Fender says 55 lbs.
CircusHerse cool thanx for the reply!
U definitely should consider the 1x12 option, specially cos they got send return efx loop which these don’t...
i got the 007 model. fun little amp.
II have this amp. Not sure what I will do. But It only had 1 issue cold soldered capacitor filter. Put grounded plug not the 2 prong.
Yep, sounds like real tone to me. Cool amp, cool demo, thanks!
I bet the in laws love you...
My father in law is a drummer so its all cool!
I bought the the 15 watt head and paired it with a Bugera 2x12 cab loaded with Eminence CV75s 16 ohms and it is the best amp I've ever played. I had a Mesa Dual Rec 212 combo that I traded in for a Blackstar head, then I bought a Peavey Valveking head that shit out on me so I traded that in for a Bogner powered Line 6 head that I traded in for another Blackstar head that I've finally replaced with the Bassbreaker 15 hd. I get every tone from RHCP to 80s hair metal and everything In between. I'm loving this amp!
Sick sound! Great playing! I've been trying to get a 1484 myself.
I had this one for about 8 years and gigged it the whole time! They are built well and take pedals great! If I find a 1484 or 1485 locally I would buy them in a second!!!
hey. thanks for the video, good to see it recorded as it is, and it still sounds great. If you put the watts on minimum with both channels dimed how loud is it for home use?
Pretty loud! Probably just a little too loud for the bedroom. I only use it at band practice and when we play out. Minimum wattage on just one channel is significantly quieter.
CircusHerse thanks! it's a pity, as I think it's better sounding than the smaller watt versions, which are probably more practical.
I play with a loud drummer and another guitar player with a tube 212. My Silvertone just got too muddy sounding at high volume to keep up. It sounded good but it didn't have the low end punch I wanted. This was the only affordable amp that had everything I wanted.
Maybe I will shoot a video just going thru range of the wattage knob.
Nice Video, I have a Bassbreaker 45 also and love the sound!!!
Thank ya!!! They are really cool. Mine is the source of gear envy in my band! lol
That's kinda what i was thinking. Thanks Man
