It's not a deleted timeline, it actually happened after crisis

Kinda sad how they got Tara Strong to voice her for 2 scenes in that episode (including that deleted one) and one in the "Suicide Squad" episode; But because of the SS movie, they couldn't use her in Arrow, and they couldn't use Joker in *Gotham* (luckily they found a way around that with Jérôme/Jeremiah, even if they weren't allowed to dye his hair green and call him Joker). Fun fact about this scene: The 2 guys that Diggle frees next to Deadshot; the white guy is supposed to be Dudley "Torque" Soames, one of Nitghtwing most famous recurring rogues. The black guy is Ravan Nassar, a thuggee assassin who's a regular SS member, and who ended up starring in the Arrow 2.5 comic book.

I noticed that the deleted scene here and the scene in the series finale, is a bit different. Turns out they actually reshot a few seconds of this scene.

@@gtaylor1229 - In season 8, Slades says "You possess true courage, Moira" while he doesn't say her name in this deleted scene; and in season 8, the scene in which he pockets his gun is shot from a different angle, as is the shot of Oliver pistol-whipping Slade at the end. I don't know if they used some other angle of the scene that they shot back in season 2, or did some reshoots for season 8 like Emergency Awesome claims, because that sounds like a lot of efforts just to tweak a couple of non-essential details.

@@randallflagg3700 THANK YOU. When ever I see someone comment about this scene and the s8 finale scene, everyone says it’s the same scene, but it’s really not. It was tweaked in the final season! I thought I was the only one who noticed s2: “you poses true courage” s2 deleted scene: “you pisses true courage”. S8 finale: “you possess true courage, Moira”. I literally thought I was the only one who noticed lol. Ok sorry for the rant

No Nyssa is better than Oliver, she was trained by the league and she is amazing. So yeah she's able to take down Roy, Roy isn't as amazing or talented.
