This channel mostly consists of performances of magic tricks I like from books, particularly where there are no other video performances of the effects that I can find.
Les Rouges et les Noires - Carlos Vaquera
It seems like gimmicked Oil and Water effects are all the rage right now. This one from The Illusioneer can be done with a borrowed deck.

An offbeat effect from Carlos' book The Illusioneer.
Pink Floyd - Michael Close

After recently doing the Caleb Wiles effect with the color changing backs, I thought of this old trick from Workers Vol. 5. that has better, fairer displays and used to be Close's opener for restaurant work.
Missing the Aces - Dave Forrest
Переглядів 64810 місяців тому
Dave is back, but this trick is from his older booklet Fandango Part 1. I like it as it's a different, offbeat effect.
Multi Monte - Caleb Wiles
Переглядів 90510 місяців тому
A different kind of 3 card monte and one of my favorites.
Here A Move - Caleb Wiles
Переглядів 1,1 тис.10 місяців тому
Full title: Here-A-Move, There-A-Move, Everywhere-A-Move-Move from Caleb's High Spots booklet. Do we really need another twisting the Aces routine? No, but this is kind of fun.
The Strategist - Wonder House and Elong

Something different this week. This was a limited release and as far as I can tell is no longer available. There are many versions of this effect, but so far this one is my favorite.
Offbeat Aces - Caleb Wiles

I love Caleb Wiles' magic. This is from his High Spots booklet one of the few effects that I don't think ever made into any of his videos.
Point Blank Assembly - Peter Duffie
Переглядів 68711 місяців тому
A transposition with a surprise ending from Duffie's Subtle Miracles. It seems that this was marketed as a packet trick.
Little Birdland - Kiyoshi Satoh
Переглядів 87111 місяців тому
Our final entry from No Man's Land Volume II is another version of Jazz Aces with a surprising ending.
Razzle - Kiyoshi Satoh
Переглядів 97711 місяців тому
It starts as Oil and Queens and keeps going. From No Man's Land Vol. 2.
Dusk Card Case Julia - Kiyoshi Satoh

What can I say I'm loving No Man's Land Vol. 2.
Stardust Collector - Kiyoshi Satoh
Переглядів 729Рік тому
A no-move Collector routine from No Man's Land Volume II. Quick and to the point.
Twilight Back Off - Kiyoshi Satoh

I don’t know if you would ever read This but i love the way you perform for me its something special cause i put your videos whenever i feel panicking or in distress they Make me feel good they bring me back when my grandpa did magic for me in family reunions and i really miss that feeling Hope you’re ok … hope to see you post again
Wow. That really means a lot to me. I put these videos out and hope people get some enjoyment out of them but you never know. I got really busy, but I hope to post again soon. Perhaps I will expand my original focus on tricks from books and do some of my other favorites.
Thank you for not teaching the magic of other magicians. Respect is essential for the advancement of magic!❤❤❤
I couldn't agree more. I highlight some overlooked tricks and tell you where to *buy* the teaching, I will never expose magic.
That is insane to look at, wow
Thanks, this is one of my favorite hidden gems
Nicely done! 👍
That means a lot coming from you Dave. I have a lot of your DVDs and effects and I'm happy to see you back with us. I hope you're doing well.
Amazing! Unexpected effect.
Yes! Kiyoshi-san is a genius.
キングが現れてまた消えるのがきれいですね。 It is beautiful to appear king and vanish afterwards.
Yes, this is one of my favorites
I love these types of routines! I am going to have to learn this one!
It's not very hard, just requires a table.
Nice set! And I like the kicker ending.
My favorite Freer set. I am selling all of my other versions. It sold out very quickly -- I'm glad I got it right away.
美しい手順、練習します。 Beautiful routine,I'll practice to perform.
That's great, I would love to see your performance. あなたのパフォーマンスをぜひ見てみたいです
Como se llama el truco original?
El nombre completo es "Here-A-Move, There-A-Move, Everywhere-A-Move-Move"
I like this trick. I've been practicing it from the book. I'm not sure I like taking the Spades and doing all the counts with them. It doesn't seem to mesh with the trick. Maybe just doing it with one count.
I’m not sure about it either. I selected it because it was different from the plots we usually see.
Show us how this is done thanks.

鮮やか! でも、自分がものにするのは大変! Great perfomance , but i takes long time for me to master.
Practice. There's only one challenging move and I didn't even do it all that well.
I like this routine. The last phase sells it. Great job!
My new favorite ungaffed Oil and Water. There are a few convincers but it's hard to argue with that final laydown.
reveal secret pls

美しい手順。Beautiful handling.
Thank you very much. I will be visiting Japan very soon. Any suggestions?
Although I wanna see your live performance , please enjoy.
This is a wonderful effect. Great handling 💛😊👍👏🪄✨️🎩👍👍👍
Thanks. I think this is one of the best handlings I've recorded.
That is a wonderful performance my friend! Thanks for sharing this amazing trick. Keep them coming 💪
Thank you so much 👍
ラストが鮮やかで素晴らしい。演じたいけどできるかな? Visual ending! If possible I wanna perform.
You will love Kiyoshi's book. This trick is a bit more difficult but you can learn it!
Overall Nice job! would work on the double lift a bit more so it seems more natural. The initial break hold was a little obvious too. Having said that i know what to look for even as a non magician. To others it may not be as obvious so take my feedback with a grain of salt. As i said Nice job overall! :)
Thanks. One reason I started the channel was to start seeing things from a spectator's point of view. And breaks are definitely a weakness.
Love it! What is your favorite 4 card effect?
If I can cheat a bit, John Bannon's B'rainiac. But if it's truly a 4-card effect from any deck, I get jaw-dropping reactions from Dr. Daley's Last Trick, and when they want to see it again I do Interlocked Daley (which is on my channel).
I think I lost my money from my false sense of confidence. :). Nice!
One of my favorite montes, and nobody has ever heard of it.
Wow!
I can't ask for a better reaction than that!
Very nice performance as always my friend! I love the idea of it 💯 Keep them coming 💪
Thanks for the support!
Nice!
Thanks!
👍😊👍😊
🫶
Nice 4 ace production and finding the selection. Great job.
Much appreciated! I'm not much into 4 ace productions but I like doing it in the context of a trick like this.
And now the tutorial please!!!
Sorry I don't do tutorials -- it would be unethical for me to teach someone else's marketed material. Which is why I always tell you where you can purchase it yourself -- in this case Tomas Blomberg's Blomberg Laboratories.
@@michaelkolodny4827 I get it, like you, you don't do free tutorials, I don't pay for tutorials, have a good weekend.
Wow, that is so sick. I love the black kings appearing face-down between the reds. Such a flawless transpo!!
@@RemAtmos Thanks -- I love Tomas' thinking
That's a very cool effect! Where did you learn it from? It is fantastic mate 😉
I learned it long ago, possibly from Workers Vol 5 or maybe from the corresponding videos.
This is a great packet trick! Michael Close is another great mind in card magic!
The old stuff is great -- no need to keep looking for the newest stuff.
😊👍👍😊
🙌
Very nice!!
Thanks!
Awesome trick mate! Lovely performance 🤩
Thanks ✌️
😊👍😊👍
Welcome back to the channel!
Great add on routine with twisting the aces!
Yeah some people complain that Twisting the Aces doesn't really have an ending so this is one possibility
Very nice effect my friend 👏 Your presentation of the trick is fantastic ♥ Keep going, thanks for sharing another great trick 😉
Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying my mix of variations on the classics with some offbeat stuff you may not have seen before.
Great trick! I love the way you perform card tricks, very smooth and cleanly done 🔥
Thank you so much 😁
Please let me know if you ever want to sell this, thanks
I have another version I will probably sell, but this one I am keeping -- it's my favorite version of the effect, produced in very limited quantity and will likely never be made again.
Managed to find one thanks 🙏🏻 cheers 🥂
@@addictedtocardmagic That's awesome! I hope you enjoy it.
@@michaelkolodny4827 cheers I’ve loved this since I saw Jason England show the Freer one. I almost bought the chocolate version but this is the best one I think
Very fun trick !
Yes I really like it. Plus after this interlude, when you bring the cards back out you can do a deck switch 😀
I am your follower
Does that make me your leader? I think this is how cults begin.
Duh... I see it now, the name is in the title.
Yes but all traces of it seem to have disappeared. I bought it through TCC (tccmagic.com) and the product page for it no longer exists, nor is there any mention of it on Wonder House's social media. It was a very limited release as I recall, perhaps less than 100 units. It was offered for sale in July and sold out very quickly.
I'm an avid puzzle collector, but I have not seen this version of this classic puzzle before. What is the name?
Impressive!
It completely baffled me the first time I saw it.
Awesome performance! Any plans for giveaways???
Thanks. No plans for giveaways at this time.
Excellent performance!
Thanks so much!
Really cool four aces trick! Very nicely done, all the moves are very clean. 💪
Thank you so much 😃
I like this effect. I just don't like the clean up after it. There are other good Ace changes that leave you clean at the end.
Yeah you can either clean up, put the joker packet away, or follow with a trick that takes advantage of the end state.
very nice performance my friend 🔥
Many thanks!!
Cool trick nice handling 😊👍😊👍😊👍
Thanks 👍
This is awesome! I had forgotten about this trick!
When I found it in his book I didn't realize it had been a well-known marketed trick. We're in such a rush to get the latest stuff we forget about the older stuff that's as good or better.
