Recipes please! I like how you’re not judgemental about not knowing this stuff- I didn’t learn meal planning/prep, financial, cleaning- any of it growing up. I’ve been out of the house for 6 years now and it’s still a learning curve! Love your vids, can’t wait to test some of those recipes out and cut down my grocery bill!

The changes you made look great. I just watched your apartment tour video and suggested moving your bed and dresser, LOL. Looks like I was late to the game! It does look better! One bigger rug that is wider than the bed and goes under the foot of the bed a little would be good.

You have a great attitude and I enjoyed this video. You have a cute place. I have a no cost suggestion for your bedroom. Turn your bed and center it on the wall so the foot of the bed is across from the closet door. Move the dresser onto the wall with the closet door placed between the closet door and the bedroom door. This will make a big difference in the feel of the room.. You could then get a second night stand if you wanted, but that is not necessary if you can't right away.

Great video! I’d advise to look on offer up for furniture pieces they go for very cheap and a lot of people tend to just give things away for free. I’ve come up on a lot of beautiful pieces and redecorated my living room for no more than $100

Loved this. And my favorite part was how you said you weren't really gonna have company over. So many apt/home tours talk about 'entertaining' or making it look nice to impress visitors or subs. But lots of people just like to relax by themselves in their own space at home! :)

if you want to get some cheap frames to hang on the bare walls but dont want to poke holes in the walls you could use velcro. thats what i did in my apt but i got heavy duty velcro because i also hung up some wall decals & sculptures. velcro is very multipurpose too, like if you have things that are falling or rattling you can velcro them down. i velcro’d some of the remotes together cause theres like 8 different remotes in my bedroom lol.

Definitely wanna get a headboard eventually. A good bed frame is an expensive find, I was lucky to get a hand-me-down from a cousin. Wiped it down, prayed over it, and put my own mattress on. Loved it since 😂

This is really nice! Apartments like this used to rent for like $500 - $600 in my town five or six years ago. Now they're like $1,200 🥲 I had to go back to living with a roommate. I miss having my own little one bedroom apartment like this so much

Aw, I didn’t realize there is a space for ‘real content’ on here but I definitely found it and that’s why I subscribed to your page. I feel like I was you in my 20s. You should be proud of your strengths through your trauma; you will one day be grateful for your struggles because no matter what your money looks like, challenges will be present, and your psyche is what is the biggest muscle to flex during those times. You are doing great. Take all the time now (and resources) to build your future career path. You seem responsible, and have a great sense of resilience too. Kudos on making YT content, good for you to share with the world. Keep doing what your doing, have God with you, and smile in the sunshine!
