It's a nice sounding tractor it would sound great working away in the fields.

It's highly likely, IH were and still are great trucks.

Interesting I never knew that about Iveco I don't really know much about them other than they have a good reputation.

They are classic machines it was good to see them working.

A lot of the Ford tractors seemed to struggle. It would be interesting to see how they would go on a computerised sled pulling an exact percentage of their weight rather than the one size fits all with this sled.

I imagine they are built solid I wouldn't like to be hit by one. Bet it gave the reporter a fright. At least he would of had something to report.

It was more impressive when you consider this was only a small selection of the trucks on display. I guess there are a lot of people in NZ who are passionate about trucks. There's many great collections around the country side.

I've never heard of Muir-Hill until now. I now know this loader was built in England so you may be correct. Hopefully, I will see this again one day so I can investigate further.

Talk about Beauty’s is in the eye of the beholder. Certainly have never seen one of these before. Must be a home built job 🤔 I personally think it is the ugly duckling of front end loaders but have to admit it is more attractive than a shovel 😂

That's funny. I always like it when I can upload something you haven't seen before. All I know about this is it was built in England from what sounded like a Fordson Fair Major. I'm guessing he said Farm Major but it was some sort of Fordson Major.

Definitely no heater no air conditioning no power steering some of the old petrol ones used to vaporise on a hot day they good old units and in there hay day they did a good job

Back when a day's work meant something that a lot of these trucks would still be good for.

Traction engines are one of my favorites I like seeing how the old timers did things. It always amazes me the stuff they were building back in the day.

Yes it's in an amazing part of New Zealand.

The true color is Flambeau Red. This Tractor seems to be more yellow/orange which would not be correct. Maybe a lot of Sun exposure changed the color. Fergieman

They're a great looking truck. Sadly they were before my time as with all good things it seems.

I've never seen a 101G I don't imagine there would be too much difference. Neat wee machines though.

It's registered as an 8.2L Diesel.

@@ScenicDriveProductions I have a model of a cable operated dozer on my desk. My garden is to small for one. Apart from that, these are practically impossible to find here, let alone pay for.

I think this is the only cable operated TD18 I've come across now that I think about it. A few smaller ones.

This one was likely converted in NZ.
