Thank you so much for this. My favorite uncle is nepali and recently invited me to join him and his kiddos on a trip back home to visit the family back over there. I’ve already met his parents when they came state side for christmas one year, but amma and baba don’t speak a lick of english, so my uncle was stuck translating for everyone. I’m so excited to go and see them again in their home and surprise them by (hopefully) actually being able to speak at least some basic nepali
