Great video. Thanks for sharing it.
I remember having this game when I was about 6 or 7. My mom loved Dark Shadows, and we played this game often!!!😂
Just stumbled across your video youtube surfing. Me and my brother had this game back in the day. I remember seeing the show in the background on our T.V., as we played with our toys. I haven't seen a nice condition copy of this game since... whenever ours was eventually thrown out. I thought the skeletons were the coolest, along with the fangs. I guess i was around 7 or 8 at the time. Thanks for the video!
Here’s a game I have and can vouch for it being an enjoyable, if repetitive, play. There is another DARK SHADOWS board game with very cool, but less blazing box art than this one. It’s very rare to find at an affordable price, but maybe it plays better? Anyway, a perfect introductory video for October and the season. Hope to see more horror themed games in the next month and a lot of monster models on your great other channel! Happy All Hallows, guys and beware the moors! 🎃
In the early years (black box) it had wooden pegs. Mine was from 1968.
That's cool, I never knew about them having wooden pegs.
"I just 3D printed.." you are very talented. Thanks for the great video. Love a 60s game review.
Thanks, I love fixing old games, it's become a thing. :)
I agree. Rob knows his way around fixing and creating all the incidental intricacies! Another advantage to that is games are often much cheaper on the secondary market if they are missing integral pieces. So it’s a win win kinda sorta.
仮面の忍者赤影は嫌いだと言う子はキングコングゲーム
This was the very first thing I ordered from eBay! A bit of a nostalgia shock that the pieces of the set I won had the colors all mixed around from the game we had as kid's!
I had this game and loved it. Does anybody know where to get this game?
had this one, it was one of my favorites. Managed never to burn myself on it. lol.
I ran across this at a antique mall recently and my memory was unlocked that we actually had this game when I was younger and looked it up here on UA-cam and found your video on it
In the 60s were these clowns considered okay.? The faces creep me out so much. Thanks for the great video gents
I think the nightmare clown stuff started with John Wayne Gasy.
You could play this with a bunch of Mr. Potato Heads. Lol.
Ahhhh!! Nightmare fuel!!!
I love what you guys are doing! I found a complete copy of Terrace at a thrift store the other day for 5 bucks! Been having a blast with it. I wish I had people to play old games with but watching you guys brings me a lot of joy! Cant wait to see what other oddities you guys find! It’s not super vintage but some of the games from my childhood I enjoyed were Frady Cats, KooKooNauts and Forbidden Bridge! Havent seen those in ages would love if you guys had em! There was also this survival game that took forever to set up it was in like a jungle, and every space had a card that had obstacles on them it was really fun i wish I could remember the name. Anyways thanks for the awesome content!
Awesome thanks! I'm trying to talk Hunter into doing some full play through with some of the funner games. We will see. :)
wow 😮
Yes the original
I just bought a copy of this and immediately had to see if you covwred it! Yay!
Glad to help. :)
The origin of Slimer.
For sure!
Test
Just found this at the thrift store today for $29. Of course I bough it !!!
Twisted statues
I'm big into Monster models and such and do a show on them as well. www.youtube.com/@monstermodelreview
We wore out three of these. I attest to the learning arithmetic statement.
This is one I picked up when I was collecting board games because I couldn’t afford the 60’s Marvel Comics board games and I wanted at least one Marvel game in my collection. I liked the box graphics, but it’s one game I never did get around to playing so your video review is most appreciated. Even with violating the comic book continuity it looks like it might be kind of fun to play. The Hulk is a weird choice for a game focal point because he’s hardly a kid friendly character and so volatile I can easily see someone losing the game and Hulking out on the other players! 🩲
We had fun with that game as kids!
The bones were just little black plastic sticks, maybe an inch long? It's been a long lomg time.... Do you think the average internet gamer could figure out this game? Or is it just something thew would throw all around comglaiming "this is BORING!!!! It's so dull!!!!"....
Yeah it's a easy game and fun in a group.
My fave game as a child was "Which Witch". Awesome 👊
I wish I had that. I did as a kid too.
Another great review. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a copy of this game!
artwork looks like "Big" John Buscema drawings from the books where the Over-Mind made an appearance
Cool info Thanks!
The art work is great on the game board. Love the Hulk's arm spinner. This is a super fun game. Great Review As Always
Yeah i agree that incorrect mythos hurts the gameplay. Unless youre a kid who didnt know the mythology.
i had one and wanted to know what a piece of cheese would turn into....a mess😥
Nice Tribute to the classics 😎
Thanks!
Wow
The old school creepy crawlers
Great retrospective of the first 100!
Thanks!
Congratulations!! Hopefully 101 will be Dynamite Shack!! Have enjoyed your games.
Thanks! DS won't be 101 but coming up soon.
Congratulations on your hundredth episode. You guys have a fantastic channel. And I always look forward to your reviews. Thanks for all your hard work on your videos.
Thanks much, we are having fun making them and have a lot more coming.
Congrats on 100 episodes! Always enjoy your game reviews.
Thanks much!
Is this multipart?
@@BlackwoodCompany nope just one shot.
Creepy smiles all around 😁
I hate saying this but I just realised...... it's 2024 and I don't think I have ever met a guy who was a secretary in an office LOL
Used to play this A LOT in the 70s. Good fun :)
how on earth did you find plastigoop? they stopped making it many years ago, didn't they?
as i recall, you were not supposed to reach in there and grab the hot plastic - there were tweezers to get them out
I have one that has never been touched
This game was at my grandparents house growing up. There is a new version called "tumballs" now
"The Werewolf" card picturing Lon Chaney Jr. as "The Wolfman" could also be considered "THE WEREWOLF OF LON DON" card.
Very interesting
