Thank you!
Hey I appreciate your video so much!! I am HIGHLY interested in the following videos you stated at the end of the video? Did you ever make it?? not asking in a snotty way?!?! Like I said I appreciate your video. I'm in NC my daughter is being bullied so I am in desperate need with help with further steps towards homeschooling and your video breaks them down so good!!
Wait what happened to your website?! Oh no!
This was SO helpful, thank you so much!
We are starting homeschooling next year; curriculum is the most confusing thing now. There is no clear guidance for homeschoolers in NC, but public schools have a list of Mandatory classes kids (even in elementary school) must take. Can you do a video on curriculum requirements?
This video was great! Thanks so much! I wasn’t able to see a preview of the Latin key through the link, could you show me a picture of the first page? Also, I can’t find the challenge a workbook on CC connected and can’t find the Facebook group. Any other ideas about how to get it?
Thank you🙏
Thank you very much for this video. It was very helpful ❤
Hello, thanks for the information! How can I learn more about the immunization religious exemption? My family lives in TN and is possibly looking at moving to NC. Is it an easy, straight forward process? Have you heard of folks being denied, etc? Thanks!
I also live in TN and would like to know the same thing. Have you found out that information yet?
This video is wildly helpful!! Thank you so so much.
This was SO helpful! Thank you.
Beginning this year, im going to homeschool my youngest son. Im a widow and this maybe a challenge for me but im giving it my best! Thanks for sharing and I'll be checking your website too. Gods blessings
So helpful! Thank you very much!
Can the child retake the standardized test if they don’t pass?
Absolutely loved this video! Getting ready for challenge A is actually exciting after watching your video. Thank you so much!
We are a military family who currently homeschools in TX. My husband has orders to move to NC. We are moving anytime from March to May this year. Am I able to file a notice of intent once we move into the state? Or do I wait until July 1st for the following school year? Edited to add- My daughter is in 1st grade right now. She will be starting 2nd grade this upcoming school year. She turns 7 on Sept 13. Do I need to add her to the Notice of intent with my 8 yr old? Her birthday is usually past the cut off dates for school, so technically she is a year ahead.

Thank you
This was really good! So many lessons that can be applied to life
Thank you so much for this encouraging and very thorough video for Challenge A. 😊
Thank you so much for this video. ❤❤
👀👀 HOMESCHOOLERS IN HIGH SCHOOL(NORTH CAROLINA) AND MOST STATE, SAY THAT THE STUDENT HAS TO BE IN SCHOOL FOR AT LEAST 9 MONTHS... BUT HOW CAN THEY SAY 9 MONTHS IN ATTENDANCE IF THE STUDENT IS FINISHED WITH ALL OF THEIR EARLIER THAN NINE MONTHS?
Do something homeschool-related in the other months. Go on a field trip, read some books, bake, learn to fish, do a sewing project. I don’t know if anyone (homeschooled or not) that is not learning *something* 12 months out of the year.
Thank you for making this video. It is exactly what I need to start prepping for next school year. I'm having problems downloading the supply list. Word keeps giving me an error message. Thank you.
Me as well. I cannot open the list. Great video!!
Thank you so much for this!! I'm getting ready to have my first kiddo in Challenge A this fall after only being in CC for 3 years. I am trying to prepare us both and your video was SOOO helpful. I got most of the novels at thriftbooks for $3 each, a neighbor set all of her latin curriculum (all Henle - barely used) on the curb and I just found an oversized clipboard (for map drawing) at goodwill yesterday! Little by little I am getting there. Thanks again for taking the time to make this thorough video!
Thank you so much for this!!
Thank you for your help. I am trying to get started. I am excited. How can I get a catalog?

Once your child is seven, what grade are they considered to be in? What should a child know before they turn seven?
1st was my guess. That led me to look up if kindergarten was compulsory in NC and I just saw that it isn't. So that makes sense.
This is my question too. I'm surprised it's age 7, I'm also curious as to what the child should know....
Hi thanks for your time, what is the cost to homeschool in NC?
thank you so much so helpful!! wounderful videos..i dount know what i would have done without these!!
Do you know if the homeschooling parent has to submit a high school diploma, or does a college diploma count too?
Either will do!
what is classical conversation

Make your own Playlists from the hundreds of examples provided .... Begin with simple Arithmetic videos containing no notational solutions ... Do you have to keep track of hours or just attendance?
I also deeply appreciate how thorough and organized this video was. Great job!!
Entering Essentials for our first year so thank you so much!
Such a helpful video! If doing the copy method for the charts, how many copies of each do I need? My son is left handed so I think making copies will be the best option for us.
It depends on how many you want your student to do each day…. and also how many of each chart you want to focus on. I had my oldest do 2 charts a day, but my middle kid struggled to do one a day. Some charts (like A) I feel are waaaay more important for a first tour kid, but by the time they are a second or third tour should be able to do it from memory and only need to copy once a week or month for review. I would do a short run of copies to start until you figure out how many a day/week works best for your child, and which charts they need more time in. The goal is mastery, but not to the point of exasperation and distain- and some of the charts (like L- Prepositions) are better done orally if you have a kid that really hates chart writing 😄
Thank you. I appreciate your candor, thoroughness, and simple presentation of all the Ch A components. Your anecdotes are helping me better prepare for my parent meeting.
Thanks for sharing this. It was very helpful.
♥️ so much to look forward to!!
This was helpful! We’ll be starting Ch A in the fall & I’m trying to get organized.
Thank you, this is great! I will be watching again a few more times 😄
Thank you so much for this video! My daughter is severely autistic and does not follow standard course of study in NC (called extended content). I was wondering if anybody's kids follow an IEP and how I would teach (or not teach) from that? Or, do I have the option to not use her prior teacher's goals? Does anybody have a link or two that might provide guidance on more specifics about homeschooling with an IEP in NC? Thanks and thanks again for this video
So if you son turns 7 in November, does this mean that we register the following July? Or do we need to register after his birthday?
Hi! We are residents of NC. In the future (a ways off!), we would like to spend a few months (consecutively) a year outside of NC. Ex: June-September or November-January) Is this allowed? Our primary residence would still be NC but ideally we would travel a few months a year. Can we still maintain our homeschool status in NC? Thank you for any feedback!
hello maam can I ask if I can enter Homeschool in NC, there are rules that the child cannot use a cellphone thanks
