Just found your videos. I am getting ready to put a top on my 68 Mustang and the lack of information from the manufacturers is ridiculous! Bought mine from the convertible top guys because of the install manual. Love how the whole manual is based on measuring the old top. I have just a bare frame. Thanks for the great information!
Did i see that correctly that you drilled into the fuel chamber and tapped those holes. If so they should have been blind holes before you hit fuel. Could have made tabs and drilled the rail horizontally into the bottom part of the solid part of the rail. Ross machine even makes these for 15 bucks and can be modded a little for your system. Ross machine also makes the tool to drill and chamfer the fuel injector holes in one shot. Well worth the 130 bucks. Hope it works out well for you.
Are you running a Spal brushed fan or brushless? Why did you choose a 7Khz controller if you have a brushed fan? Will other controllers work on Spal brushed fans like mine? Thanks for your help.
I enjoyed watching your video, Thankyou for sharing. Where do you have the knob set on the controller in the video? I'm planning on getting one like yours soon. Thanks Again!
Sorry, I just saw this. The fan and controller work great, no complaints. The best part is that the engine actually gets up to temp in cold weather, it never could do that before with the full speed fan running all the time.
I'm still confused on the injectors themselves. Did you just drill a hole the size of the injector and pop em in? Or did you leave a lip on the inside?
Sorry, I just saw this. I drilled the 1st hole at about 1/4" and then the second hole about 3/8", centered on the first and deep enough for the o-ring on the injector to be completely past the bottom edge of the bevel.
sorry, i just saw this question. The controller works great! Its particularly helpful in the winter> before installing it, I couldn't get the engine up to temperature in cold weather.
Great video thanks for posting. What degree thermostat is in it?
How did you wire the A/C terminal? Are you jumping 12+ from a binary switch or are you using a trinary switch?
Nice job! I'm working on a console for my 68 convertible. Thanks for the video and ideas!

I picked one of these up and it works very well, A/C blows colder I did wire in an override inside for the hot days

Hello what are your thoughts 2 years later? I hate my on / off fans ...

The inner part of the rail has to be smaller so the injector can snug got it
I bet you would benefit from a bigger radiator. What brand fan do you have?

Yup...still working perfectly
Is the controller still operating fine?
