Georgia Aquarium
We have visited the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia 3 times. The first time was in the Spring of 2006 ( about 5 months after it opened). We then visited it in the Summer of 2015, and again on September 12, 2021. Each time it has changed and new things have been added. It is in the top 3 aquariums in the nation in my opinion and probably number one. I rate it as a Large 9 and would definitely recommend you visit Atlanta just to go to it. This is a compilation video of all three visits and some of the changes made between each one.

Dinosaur National Monument

We visited Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal, Utah in the Fall of 2014. It is one of the few National Parks that is in two different states - it straddles the border between Utah and Colorado. The two sides have very different things to see. On the Utah side is the largest and densest dinosaur bone bed in the USA. You can still see thousands of bones in the bed after tons have been removed...
Gatorland

We visited Gatorland in Orlando, Florida in the Summer of 2005. I rate it as a small 4 because it concentrates on mainly one species - alligators but does have a few other species. It is a great place to spend a couple of hours if you are in Orlando and you want to see Alligators but do not want to drive all the way to the Everglades to see them.
Devil's Tower National Monument

We visited Devil's Tower National Monument near Hulett, Wyoming in the Fall of 2019. It is an interesting place to go and obviously has the iconic tower in it. However, we were not allowed to visit the place that the alien ship landed. It is well worth visiting and has a large Black-Tailed Prairie Dog town that it good to look at.
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

We visited the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center near Glen Rose, Texas in the Summer of 2007. It has over 1,800 acres and 5 miles of roads to drive and is a drive through zoo. It has over 50 species of animals and I would rate it as one of the top 3 drive through zoos in the Nations - a large 9. The animals readily come up to feed so you can get a good look at them and there is great variety of them. ...
Denali National Park

We visited Denali National Park near Healy, Alaska for a total of 5 days in the Summer of 2018. There is only one road in the park and the rest is wilderness area. The road is 92 miles long, but you can only drive the first 15 in your vehicle and the rest can only be accessed by the park buses which you need to get tickets for. If you intend to ride the buses get the tickets as early as you can...
Fort Worth Zoo

We visited the Fort Worth Zoo in Fort Worth Texas in the Summer of 2007. It is a very long, thin zoo so lots of walking. I rate it as a large zoo and give it a 9 (putting in in the top 10 in the nation) because of the number of species that put into such a small area.
Death Valley National Park
Переглядів 259День тому
We visited Death Valley National Park near Lone Pine, California for a three day period - March 9-11, 2002. This is the largest National Park in the Lower 48 states. It is mainly geological features. It has been greatly effected by several floods since we were there washing out several roads in the last few years. Be sure to check on the Park website for closures before you go.
Eureka Springs Safari Park
Переглядів 33День тому
We visited the Eureka Springs Safari Park in Eagle Rock, Missouri in the Spring of 2020. It is a part of the Promised Land Drive Thu Zoo in Branson, Missouri. I would rate it as a Medium size drive through zoo and a 7 because the animals are very friendly and readily come up to the car to be fed so you can get a very good close look at them.
El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Переглядів 13814 днів тому
We visited the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens in El Paso, Texas on April 21, 2013. I rate it as a Medium size zoo and a 5 (about average) since it does not have any unusual animals. You can see it in about half a day.
De Soto National Memorial

We visited the De Soto National Memorial in Brandenton, Florida on May 17, 2021. This small (27 acres) park is to mark the place that Hernando De Soto first set foot on the North American Continent in 1539. He then became the first European to explore the continent.
Echo Leahy Center for Lake Champlain
Переглядів 1714 днів тому
We visited the Echo Leahy Center for Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont on October 10, 2021. I have included it with zoos because it does have a small aquarium and some small animals, but mostly it is a Museum. I would rate it as a small 4 zoo, but I would say it is worth an hour to visit it if you are in the area.
Darlingtonia State Park

We visited Darlingtonia State Park near Florence, Oregon on September 22, 2022. This is a very small park (about 15 acres) and is the only state park in the USA that is dedicated to saving one species of plant - the Cobra Lilly. The Cobra Lilly is a carnivorous Plant and is only found here. You can take the short walk our to the boardwalk over the peat bog in just a few minutes and see it. It i...

Request: 2000 - Orlando - Disney World - MGM - The Magic of Disney Animation
Sorry, but I do not have that video. I do have a video of MGM in 2007 with a 10 second part about The Magic of Disney Animation if you want to see that.
The music sounds like you should be in Salem not the Cape!
I just like the music. Sorry it disturbs you.
Beautiful day, nicely filmed. Thank you!
Yo -- you left off an S in the name of the state in your headline! Oh, and try to spell "Provincetown" correctly, and please do NOT call it "Providencetown."
sorry - spelling is not one of my best skills - Now sure where you said I misspelled Provincetown though?
@@allendearing2584 You misPRONOUNCED it as "Providencetown." Several times. Next video, get a spelling expert to help. We come cheap!
@@tovarisch2788 OH, thank you for pointing that out.
Fun fact- Striped bass another type of sea bass can actually survive in freshwater and are regularly stocked into rivers and lakes in North America.

Amazing to see so little had changed since the 80s back then - it has snowballed in recent years! Must have been very early in the year as The Haunted mansion closed most of the middle part of the year for the updates, and this is the old version.
Always have been so talented!!
I enjoyed watching this more then i can expresd, thank you for posting this! The reminiscing was truly heart warming!
