I'm just now seeing this that's so horrible.

In the last 2 years there was multiple other crashes both I’ve witnessed unfortunately one where the pilot went straight to the ground and the other which was in 2023 I’m pretty sure where two pilots crashed into each other

Jeez I was there that day and will never forget it. I was one of the first on the scene and seeing the plane completely smashed and a small debris field were the engine had jettisoned was rather terrifying. After it cooled down a bit I went in with my boss and then we cooked our hot dogs above the pilot while he was still smoldering. I got my dog rather crispy and there was something about the taste that seemed like I could still taste the fear of the bloke who had just crashed. Very strange indeed.

Accidents like this are so sad; foremostly for the loss of life, but also the trauma these people now have. There is a very good chance that none of these people want anything to do with aviation anymore. They have written airplanes off as dangerous and frightening, and any parents who saw this or accidents like it will likely bar their children from exploring aviation as a career or hobby.

I had the privilege of being at the last RARA, which was also my first. You could tell that the shadow of Galloping Ghost still hung over the event over ten years later.

Tragic. no words just Tragic and also my dad was near Reno when it happened he said "I saw a plane hit the ground FAST and I say people get crushed by the plane I couldn't go cause I was in a hurry

Just found out about this and damn it's scary just watching these people enjoying a perfectly normal day and then this happens. Just another reminder that life is such a gift and anything can go wrong at any moment.
