Those are fake LCNs (as in a foreign ripoff), no need to worry, the real LCNs don't let you adjust it slow enough to not close

Thanks for Commenting! The doors are still good for fire prevention but may be dirty or scuffed up. The hitting the frame isn't too much of an issue and doesn't really need addressed until loose hinges get worse. The one that doesn't latch on its own I hope I will fix eventually because nobody else will fix it.

Yup! that's what happens when you have doors that haven't been serviced since the wing was built. The hold open one that hits the frame is actually a door jamb issue and not a loose hinge because it's too close to the frame and hits the frame when latching. The rest of them are loose hinge issues though. Thanks for commenting!

That's quite interesting, thanks. I figured that all of them were LCN 4114s since they all were the same. In episode 3 I showed an LCN 4114 with no cover, are you sure about this? it's all quite confusing and I'm not 100% sure on it too.

The Dormas were put in the school in 2009 in the newer wing and the renovated part. I actually haven't seen a single one of these with a replacement unit, missing screw or leaking. They are doing great! Thanks for commenting!

Yes. These are really loud, you can hear them across this wing of the school lol.

Yes I know that it does this. That's why there are so many clips. A work order was put in for this door a few months ago and nothing has been done about it still. There are plenty of clips of this door, I quite like the sound of it hitting the frame, most doors don't sound good when hitting the frame, but this one is fine. Notice how the closer entirely stops due to the door moving too much. These Sargent closers have a tendency to slow down but not completely stop, but this one stops.

And also, these D25 videos I'm posting for the next few days in between videos are the (almost) raw footage of the original clips. The original clips can be found in the Mega Collections, D25 compilations and Various Brand compilations. D25 right after it got the Schlage LE door handle is in the New Schlage Handles video as well. I just felt as I would clear this up a little.

I use an advanced editor, MAGIX vegas, but the editor on your phone would work fine for this

Yes the keycard system is electronic but once the keycard system is detected the door actually unlocks. There is still a regular key you can use. You can see it in my "Final D25 clip" video

And unlike other door closer youtubers, I always take time to film the other door hardware too because it's just as interesting. and I always get multiple views and cycles of each door

@@doorhardwareenthusiast I always feared getting caught at my school but eventually I worked up the confidence to ask the first question to the teacher and then talk to the school principal. The head staff knows that I do youtube now and it's an awesome feeling when that happens!
