Excellent overview. I think you've been too kind to this mess of a game, which looks awful. It's amazing that Paradox could have hired the New Horizon mod authors to make this and instead outsourced an Argentinian studio to make a watered down Stellaris mod. I just have no respect for Paradox anymore, between the way they develop their games to the flagrantly numerous DLCs for their main titles, it's just a little too much. Yet somehow people continue to throw money at them. It's a sad state of affairs. Glad I refrained from picking this up and avoided it altogether. It's a shame too because Star Trek for the last decade has been very hit-and-miss when it comes to licensed games. I remember the mid-to-late 90s which was a golden age of Star Trek games. Star Trek Starfleet Command 1 and 2 continue to be some of my favorite games. I would love to see that game combined with a 4X strategy game. Star Trek deserves better.
