Luther and the other protestant reformers mistakenly defined the works of the Law and Catholic rites as meaning that we need do nothing but believe in order to be saved. That and Luthers antisemitism resulted in their conclusion that the plan of salvation was in Rom.ch.10:9 instead of the correct plan in Acts 2:38.

The law of the old covenant is of works. Deuteronomy chapters 28, 29, 30, and 31, covers the blessings and curses of the law of the old covenant. In Galatians 3:10-12, Paul was quoting from Deuteronomy chapters 28, 29, 30, and 31. Jesus said to the Jews: did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keep the law? [ John 7:19-23 ] Jesus said to the scribes and Pharisees, for God commanded, saying, he that curses father or mother, let him die the death, but you have made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. [ Matthew 15:1-9 ] The ten commandments of God are of the works of the law. He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. [ John 8:7 ] The circumcision is of the works of the law. [ Galatians 5:2-4 ] Tithing is of the works of the law. [ Numbers 18:28 ] The doers of the law are debtors to keep the whole law of the old covenant. For it is written, cursed is everyone that continues not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. [ Galatians 3:10-12 ] & Deuteronomy chapters 28, 29, 30, and 31, covers the blessings and curses of the law. If anyone wants to be justified by the works of the law of the old covenant, so be it. If anyone wants to be justified by the faith of Jesus Christ, so be it. The whole world needs to be taught the love of God, because God is love. [ 1 John 4:7-8 ] And he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. [ 1 John 4:16 ] Love worketh no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. [ Romans 13:10 ] For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; you shall love your neighbor as yourself. [ Galatians 5:14 ] Jesus said to the Jews, but I know you, that you have not the love of God in you. [ John 5:42 ] John said to the brethren, love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. [ 1 John 4:7-8 ] Paul said to the Corinthians, if you don't have charity (love), it profited you nothing. [ 1 Corinthians chapter 13 ] Preachers receiving tithes and offerings under the law of the old covenant are robbing God of the heave offering. [ Numbers 18:28 ] God ordained the tribe of Levi to receive tithes and offerings from the children of Israel, according to the law. [ Hebrews 7:5 ]

The fact that you even have to ask this question is evidence of just how far we've fallen from the Truth these last two millennia.

I don’t think that Paul was telling the Corinthians to celebrate the Passover. He was showing how passover was a shadow of Jesus’ sacrificial death and atonement for our sins.

Yes, it is, what God has cleansed you must not call common. To me, that's a pretty clear indication that God has cleansed all food. Not only that, but when they went into the world they found out that most societies ate things that were unclean. Say in China or in Asia or Africa.
