What it's like to swim the English Channel | Peter Hugh's 12-hour swim
Cheered on by family and friends in the UK, Australia, and on the support boat 'Viking Princess', Peter Hugh crossed 'La Manche' to make landfall at Tardinghen Beach in a fantastic 12 hours and 14 minutes on 30th September 2018... beginning at a gruelling 3.00 in the morning from Dover.

anyone have the specifics (i.e.: cost, contacting the skipper, nutrition during, etc). I would love to know what was involved. Thanks.
😳😙😂
How does the sea end up shallow on both the English and French side?
What a strong man. I like swim in the sea very much but I don't have such capability to do long swimming like the man. Proud of you Sir 👍

Parabéns, grande abraço dos nadadores do Rio Negro, Manaus, Amazonas, Brasil.
I"m curious. How did you relieve yourself when nature called-- especially, if you had to do a "Number 2"?
He probably held it in (number 2 atleast) I mean I hope so xD
I think when you are swimming it would be like sleeping, your intestines don’t work much, so you won’t get number 2 call
But even if you needed to do a number 2, it would be possible wouldn't it? You'd need to slip the back of your trunks down a bit, and hope the water is a bit murky!
