Hilarious ending, as we believed we lost the entire dialogue from a computer crash. Luckily I was able to salvage this episode using the audio recorded by the cameras recording the video. Quality is substantially worse than my standard episodes but the conversation was worth saving. Holy shit! Brilliant James
@@StoicAlchemist28 thanks man
Love Matt! I just started watching
Great conversation 🦾♥️🦾
I am from Flint and over the last 40 years I saw what Mike is describing with my own eyes. I love hearing different perspectives respectfully discussed! I think at the core most of humanity want the same things but we are divided by race, religion, and political affiliation which puts up walls to we are all one methodology. Breaking down division has to be part of the solution.
@@rickb1358 once you get beyond all the labels and layers I've found that most people do want similar things. We need to get back to difficult construction dialogue with the intention of resolving things. Mike and I go at it sometimes over a cup of coffee, usually in a public setting 🤣, but it's all in a wanting to understand & better serve.
Another great conversation!!! I feel like i was in the room with you both...so engaging ❤❤
Great conversation 🥰
You already watched it??? You're going to love the one that I just did with Ramsdell as well
@@Jimjitsu1987 ...watched that right after this one!! Good stuff🥰
I enjoyed this one. Great vulnerability of important topics to learn from.
@greta_gem Thank you Greta. This was a conversation I enjoyed thoroughly and left the studio feeling grateful for the time/experience.
Thank you for bringing more awareness to the public regarding DSRCT. It desperately needs more funding for research and new treatments. Forever Trey 1999-2020
I just finished listening to the whole podcast and wow! I’ve shared it with friends on the left, with friends in law enforcement, and with friends from Greenville! Roger, I’m proud that we’re both GHS grads, and I’m glad that you’re now post commander here in Traverse City. Welcome! James, you and Roger had a world-changing talk, thanks for sharing it with us.
@johndespelder8869 glad you enjoyed it. Love Roger, he's a great guy
What a remarkable young man. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you, Joe. I've been fortunate to know your father for most of my life. He had a very similar discipline that you have.
Thank you for shedding some light on DSRCT. My 16 year old daughter, Sakshi, passed away in 2022 after battling it for a year and a half. No treatment protocol, very little research interest and funding (in comparison to other cancers) and bare minimum and often outdated information - all this over and above the trauma of the disease itself! We need more attention on DSRCT.
I'm amazed, Joe, by what you've been dealing with. James, I appreciate you bringing Joe in to share his story. A display of true strength that is incredibly inspiring. Your thoughts on imposter syndrome resonated with me. It definitely feels that way, and your perspective on pushing yourself is a great way to view it. Winners win, Joe is it. We should all try hold a candle to that kind of perseverance.
Powerful, incredible strength.
I just listened to this wow! Inspirational story I hope other DSRCT patients have the chance to listen to this. My son is currently being treated for this terrible disease and I am going to share this with him. We go back to New York in 10 days for a study at MSK. Keep fighting Joe!
Thank you! Best of luck on your trip to New York!
My 16 yr old daughter died a few months ago from this awful cancer. She fought hard but as things stand there is no viable treatment currently to successfully treat DSRCT. There needs to be massive funding for research to find a cure or at least improve survivability for those affected. I wish Joe all the best in his battle.
I'm sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain that must have caused.
@@Jimjitsu1987 Thank you. It's indescribable, really.
Could not be more proud of my cousin!!! He is a rockstar and a hero to keep this mindset and positive outlook.
You're not kidding ❤

I hope shes in a better place and shes received gods forgiveness Because we are all imperfect humans we are all in need of gods forgiveness including myself.
Seth isn't exactly attracting much attention here.
❤❤💪🫶 yes sir Love listening to you ❤
❤yes sir! Facts
Awesome video!
love this.
Picture it being you one day ✊️
Thats amazing!
Excellent interview with a good person!
Funny how God or Source or Truth or Love WORKS !!! ( their one with each other - call it what u wanna call it ) My grandson has been going to your Scorpion school for a bit now & I help with a ride now & again. Today I did & decided to wait in the parking lot. I backed into a spot & as I’m sitting here I notice I’m in front of a podcast door. So I check out the podcast. ☝️ I now understand why my grandson is so taken by you. I have witnessed a change in my grandson that began with your school. A change in his body..his heart..& his mind. This has been a deep change in this young man. He has always been strong enough. He always had a beautiful heart & intelligent. Developing integrity and responsibility is not an easy task. Developing and growing a heart is not an easy task. I am honestly in awe of the way my grandson has grown under your tutelage. You are truly a beautiful human being and I appreciate you & thank you for your contribution in making this world a better place. This podcast is extremely inspirational. I am so happy you decided to do this one. Thank you ❤️
very helpful and interesting interview!
Glad you enjoyed it 💙
I wonder if this why my lady left me
when people are battling alone and are scared to ask for help, sometimes ask the wrong people and make things worse for the person.
God damn
Glad it hit you hard also
by not accepting your greatness you are doing the world a disservice what if Muhammad Ali said this or Jordan Burroughs or all the great athletes who had to overcome issues.
Skibidi toilet is cool
Ty Wildmo is a fighter with a ton of talent he is one step from being on the big stage
What a load of self righteous BS
"Someone that is not confident, may see your confidence & call it arrogance, and may hate you for it." Thank you for giving this quote the quintessential example.
SPOT ON¡!
?
I know exactly how you feel. After my mother was paralyzed I fell into a deep depression. But I could never ask for help because I thought I’d be viewed as weak or get made fun of. So I just white knuckled on through until my gf pulled it all out of me one night and made me realize it’s okay to ask for help. Years and years of depression almost solved with one conversation and a good cry.
Great to hear that you found someone that helped you battle through it and that you're still moving forward bro.
Self doubt is one of our biggest problems as men
"If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm."
Exceptional 🤜💥🤛
I served with John in the 70th Division Tng. He was my boss in the G3. John asked me to take over the air section several years after he had moved on. He is all he purports to be and I valued his leadership. He is one of the two officers who made an impact on my reserve career. He also gave me an opportunity to lead the 1st Battalion tng. Patrick Curtin Col AUS.
That's awesome to hear Patrick. He struck me as a great man & leader.
Love Billy and wish him the greatest successes in life❣️
He seemed super genuine and I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation.
@@Jimjitsu1987 He is definitely genuine and a super kind young man.😍🥰
This cop is top notch. Unfortunately coos like him are the minority. James I would have loved for you to give the guest a chance to speak regarding your experience with the MSP.
I could have but I already knew everything he would have said. He knows there are police that do abuse power, he knows that there are levels of people who put on the uniform, like everything else. I wanted to highlight the good versus remind everyone of the bad experience that I had.
Amazing! This was really helpful!
I can't wait to see this therapy firsthand
Always on your side josh. Our mothers were friends and you introduced me to Pokémon and dragon ball z. Helped me with homework. Ill never forgot when you were a "cereal killer" for Halloween at Webster. Stay you Josh.❤
Pokémon and Dargon Ball Z? Now that's a friend.
Im sorry webberville wasnt a good one for you man. Would love to hear more about your thoughts on why that was. Had no idea you've been through so much. You are enough brother. ❤
Thanks for this been looking for Zoe's fight
Josh, the man you are now and becoming is exactly what your daughter needs! I am a girl Dad as well so i understand where your mind was at. Stay strong! Seeing our daughters off is the most important job we have. I am speaking from an outaide perspective but looking back on all the things you have accomplished through adversity, you are a GOAT!!
That's my fam! Go girl. This is cousin Brent from Seattle! We me at Chucks house! Good luck ❤
Great style of video!
Thanks bro, produced it this morning right before my sessions, Ashley had the vision, I brought it to life.
Good luck on your fight tonight Josh!!
