This was the last GI Joe release before I was too old to play with them. Zartan figure was so cool.

The action force base looks way better then the GIJoe base since it has a super cool camouflage paint job
Yeh I do like the colour scheme. Cannot believe they did not sell it with some figures in the U.S. I bet it still sold well though.
The Dreadnoks were definitely my favourite thing about late 80s G.I Joe/Action Force. Pity Torch was never released here in the U.K innit.

@@lexistoyloft2641 Agreed! I am still so surprised there has been no announcement for an updated Haslab Defiant space ship play set. If Super 7 can fund an updated Snake Mountain playset and an updated Thudercat Cat's Lair playset and Haslab themselves funded a Haslab Jabba Sail Barge playset and a Haslab Star Wars Ghost ship playset surely they could see there is a market for an updated Defiant play set. If they did it I know I would find the money to fund it especially seeing how much money the originals are going for.

I remember the mail-away Steel Legion troopers more- you could make your own Code Name and submit info for a personalized File Card. Never got around to ordering one, but several years later I came across the figure at a Flea Market. It's the only Joe I own now...
Yeh they are quite tough to find in the UK too. You got a cool poster and a few other items with them as well. Its all quite hard to find! Def keep it I'm sure it will only go up in value over time!

He was a great figure. They reused the head sculp from another figure but love the accessories!

Nice use of cartoon clips to assist with the back story... I remember channel 4 occasionally airing the show in 1993... that same year I saw this set in woolworths priced at 29.99... afew months later is was reduced to 14.99... I never saw the Shadow Force Variant. Great video

@lexistoyloft2641 Thank you. I have found some really useful information. Is it StarcomHQ that has the old Coleco Starcom Bible on it. Any idea what information the cartoon writers had... Most episodes focus on Mars, IO, Europa, Ganymede Lunar... So there must have been some map of battlegrounds and base interests.

3 questions: 1- are the figures of Dolphin and Moondancer indistinguishable except for the head? 2- are the helmets and backpacks the same 3- did both Moondancer and Dolphin both come with visors?
Hello yes they have the same bodies but heads are differnet. Dolphin is like Grunts but with black hair. Helmets and backpacks are the same. I believe they were supposed to come with visors but some are known to come without.
