In DCS you have to buy Flaming Cliffs 3 to have de MIG-29 along with other planes.

The Mavericks here you have to manually put the "Cross" you see on the targeting screen over the target and then press release. It does not lock the target, maybe is because the game is base in the 70's.

What type of license are you trying to activate?

Ok, now everything is porked! Removed everything and reinstalled 3x. Still porked. F-15 freezes on load up and no sound. DON"T MESS WITH THE SHORTCUT! Even after 3x re-installs (without messing with anything), verified everything "ok" and still porked. Will post again if I can get this running again.

Got it running again, but no sound. I tried sound settings (all of them) and still no sound. Tried to find a Dsound.dll to see if I can reinstall that file. Tried Device Manager and ensured all non sound drivers were disabled (@motherboard). After running F-15 now, it will occasionally freeze. Same old issues. Don't know what to do here. Had to go into regedit to remove any/all Dxwnd and F-15 files and a super fresh re-install to get it to work again. But still no sound. At this point, a hole day on this and still not working right. Perhaps my rig is just too new to get this to work. Don't know. Unless you guys have an idea, I'm all out of them.

You have to use the Dxwnd that can be downloaded from my page. It's an "special" version of Dxwnd to make those games work. I have tried other versions of Dxwnd as well and always had issues.

@@thejetfighter Thanks for responding! Got the sound back actually. For anyone who is interested using a Sound Blaster card: "Use Creative Alchemy and set your path to Dxwnd/f15". This installs Dsound. Works great now, but now I get a shrunk down box after 20sec. in game (load up screen and UI). Yes, I am using your Dxwnd file and fix. Still getting the shink box. Any Ideas?

Also, I can remove the Dsound file at any time. Then I get no sound and still get the shrink box. In fact it was shrinking before I installed Dsound.dll

I've seen the same pause sometimes. Maybe is because of a maintenance. :-/

@@thejetfighter Sure yes. There is only one thing - after installing the patches, the English fonts on the map or in the menu do not turn into jibrish. This happened to me after installing the Russian version of Lock On and FC2 on WIN10. Your versions of Lock On and FC2 work just fine.

@@dovpauzner5093 If you find the “language” folder in the files and delete the Russian language, you should see English.

Flaming Cliffs 2 is still a fun to play game :-D

To use the MIG-21 you need to install the MOD-1 which adds many more planes and missions including the MIG-21. A how to video about how to install the MOD-1 it's coming next week :-)

I don't remember this game having nukes. I do remember F-22 Lightning 3 having some missions with nukes.

Actually, I had to buy it from eBay since buying it from Thirdwire is pretty expensive.

I use an US/International keyboard. It's at the upper right usually over the Page Up key. What type/language keyboard do you have?

@@thejetfighterDELL laptop Inspiron 17R ... full keyboard but : Compact and notebook keyboards often do not have a dedicated Pause/Break key. Substitutes for Break : Ctrl + Fn + F11 or Fn + B or Fn + Ctrl + B on certain laptops. Ctrl + Fn + B or Fn + B on certain Dell laptops. Any of this combinations not work for me. Also tried to change Pause key in game settings menu. No success at all.

@@dovpauzner5093 Try pressing the FN and INSERT and the same time.

@@thejetfighter Thanks. FN with any key not working. I found the PAUSE/BREAK working key only on virtual keyboard in WIN10 - its NumLock. But physical NumLock not work. Interesting that "Training/LOP" folder is totally empty, its OK ?

Did you copy the files in the same folder of the game?

@thejetfighter yeah... the launcher.exe dxwnd.exe and dxwnd.dll ... also when i saw it didn't work i tried to just move everything it but it didnt work either

@@oreltabib4790 Try uninstalling and reinstalling everything. But this time execute everything as administrator,even the game install.
