Hi! I came across your video because my bluetick Beagle had her first seizure last night & this is exactly what she did. Do you know what type of seizure this is? I can barely see through my tears to type this. She's my heart & soul.

Just lost my beagle to a seizure that dr believed had to be tumor or cyst pressing against the brain. She was only two years old and my best friend. Poor beagles.

So sad..my beagle does it too but pees and poops.. he looks at me to help him but I feel absolutely helpless

Why oh why?? My 3 year old beagle did this for the first time today and it was so scary and I thought he wasnt going to pull out of it. Took him to the e.r vet and they gave him 4 syringes with a medication to squirt up his nose if it happens again to stop it quickly. Im so scared now that I wont be around to help him next time but hopefully there wont be another one.😢😢

My Jack Russell had seizures I learnt it could be carbohydrates in dog food so I changed to protein only. it really helped and she lived a long life and seizures became less infrequent. Also I saw a Holistic vet and he too was very helpful.

Thank you for posting this; it is important for people to be able to see what it looks like. It must have been so hard to go through that with your beagle.

our 5 dachshund has this kind of seizure. seizures starts when they are to excited or when they fight.

even our dog having seizures very often anyone knows how to take care of it

Unfortunately I hadn't started at Vallivue until the following year so I didn't get the chance to hear Advanced Women's sing it then, but I just graduated last year, and this was the last song we did for my senior year. It is such a beautiful song, one of the only pieces to ever make me cry. If I ever get the chance to perform this again with a director even half as amazing as the wonderful Mr. Curtis, I will truly be grateful.

Our dog goes through this as well we have had him about four years now, first time it happened just about scared me and my wife to death thought we would lose him. when it happens we just lower the volume on the tv try to make hime comfrable untill it passes and hold him, pet him and talk low and calmly to him. I am usualy on the floor with him and my wife is on the couch were we both are after its over we give him a treat, we love that little dog and would not trade him for anything.

the same thing happened to my 7 year old beagle. It is very sad, but unfortunately beagles are prone to this. My dog has had two seizures in the past 3 days. She was doing the exact same thing. We brought her to the vet yesterday and the doctor said it was a high change of epilepsy. Fortunatley, with the right medication, your dog can go back to normal and will stop having the seizures. :)

My 5 year old did the same to me today... scared the heck out of me.. He has never done this before.. the vet said this is normal to happen as mid sized beagles get older.. I would like to know how this effects the dog in a long term sense..

My 4 year old beagle has had two seizures in the past month. He's never had any issues before. It's heartbreaking :( I feel so helpless when this happens. This Is all so new and scary to me. My mind can't even process it yet.

One of my friends dog has due urea it's a beagle and after it has one it just gets another after another they said but I just pet his head and kept petting him saying shhhh its okay it helped calmed him down alot

My beagle Wylie did this but he was having muscle spasms , squirming and throwing up and he only did it once but we don't know if it will happen again
