Jurassic World Music Video: Rexy avenges her ancestor | When intelligence defeats brute force
Our beloved T. rex is in the last moments of her life, and yet she managed to survive a brutal fight with a giganotosaurus much bigger and younger than her.
After that, she finally got a happy and peaceful ending alongside others of her kind, after all these lonely years.
I made this music video comparing some scenes from the prologue of the movie (which ended up not appearing in the movie, XD), where the two dinosaurs still in prehistory fight each other, and the scene of the final battle between clones of the same species, when Rexy gets a rematch for her ancestor against the Giganotosaurus.
In this last battle, this brave girl, who should have been tired for a long time, almost had her final rest, but a surge of energy and determination made her manage to return and get up once more, when she had the opportunity to prove how much intelligence and experience can overpower brute force.
Not everything is brute force. Let's start valuing other attributes as well and not just seeing dinosaurs as MMA fighting monsters that live solely and exclusively to attack and kill each other in the movies for our entertainment.
I'm a huge fan of Rexy as well as Godzilla, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go around preaching that they're super powerful beasts that can't be beaten, because liking a character is much more than wanting to see them win every arm wrestling. Let's grow up.
