What yr legacy is this
the problem with these plastic masters and slaves is not the bleeding.... the design of the clutch hose ends is bad .... pressure is kept only by an O-ring and its really hard to find the correct O-ring.... even the Nissan dealership dont sell it or the clips seperately.... u have to buy the whole clutch line....
The One closest to you.
Good jop
Just what I was looking for, Thanks!
Never touch the positive with the negative attached.
You are an awesome!
Thanks
Straight to the point! Thanks!
Bravo! Thank you very much!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Always the negative
Thank you
You're Welcome
Wrong. If you knew a damn thing about pull ups and pull downs in electronics you'd know to remove positive first, then the negative.
Just found it...... cant get of ... not removeing the dadhboard
Thanks so much man, awesome video! I liked and subscribed!
You're Welcome, Glad you like the video
The right answer - DOES NOT MATTER!
"Black first, black last"
Can you tell me if the passenger side window regulator has seven pins or two pins? I already know that the driver side of my vehicle has seven pins, but I was wondering if it would be the same on the passenger side
If I disconnect the black one would my battery still drain if I don’t disconnect the red one?
Thank You ! God Bless 🤗🙂
Why did you black out the bar codes on that battery?
Isn’t the red cap with the + on it a clue
Source of current (electron flow) is the negative terminal. Disconnect first to stop current, connect last to start current.
The removal is fine but with double spring valves it didn’t work for me.
Wat year was the escape? R
Good job, well explained,, thank you sir for showing us this Bering remooval and install.
But why negative first, and when replaced positive first any explanation please boss
Negative always! Telephone school taught us this!
Does doesn't help someone with the 2015 ford escape
Makes no difference whatsoever.
Thank you for making this video for us ❤
thanks you👍
A mnemonic may help: Never Put Positive to Negative. NPPN.
Red
I bled my breaks after losing a rear line and shortly after my clutch was to the floor But it came back enough to work but its very soft and i only had issues shifting for a moment, it runs and shifts but its still very soft clutch petal and i want to the way it was so i know i won't have any problems again, cars an 07 ive done an, axle, window, rear brake shoes and drums, rear brake cylinders, When i realized the systems are connected i figured it wouldn't be that hard but this clip has got me feeling stupid my clip doesn't do anything at all
Sorry to spoil all the pseudo science, but it makes zero difference which terminal you connect or disconnect first.
"Negative first, Negative last" simple to remember, first remove the Negative terminal cable then the Positive terminal cable when reconnecting connect Positive terminal cable first then Negative terminal cable
I wanted to point out something wrong with the technique. Please understand that I really appreciate videos like this, but sometimes I see something wrong, and I want to help make it better. At time marker 0.59, when you start to remove the negative terminal, there was something seriously wrong. The plastic cover of the positive terminal was peeled back, and the terminal was exposed. This is a huge mistake. A Neighbour of mine made this exact error. He was using a combination wrench, exactly the same way as shown in the video. He accidentally touched the positive terminal with other end of the wrench as he was removing the negative cable. The battery arced and he dropped the wrench, which essentially fused between the terminals because of the high current. This heat caused his car to catch fire and he ended up burning his house down. The best thing to do is to cover the positive terminal with the built-in plastic tab and, maybe, a non-conductive layer like a rubber mat, wood or ceramic bowl, etc. Remember, accidents are called accidents because we don't plan for them to happen. Take all precautions.
Earth is always first some cars have positive for ground (earth), check for which is earthed onto the body and disconnect this first an when re assembling connect it last.
I changed mine and somehoe ROYALLY SCREWED UP and my door wont open at all. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 I have both panels off and have manually pulled and pushed all the levers and triggers and rods and i messed something up!! I think it has to do with the lock and unlock metal rod. Now my back door rod snapped and yesterday my passenger door one did too. I am locked in!!! Everyone has to go through front driver door!!!!!
I always learned to disconnect the positive first and hook it up last. But that was an electrical job I heard that. I wonder if it applies here?
2008 Nissan versa hatchback same problem
The thing that confuses people is that they are taught in school that current flows from positive to negative. That is a convention that was created prior to the understanding that electrons are the cause of current flow, and that electrons are negatively charged particles. Therefore the flow of electrons is the opposite of the flow of conventional current. For most purposes it's a trivial distinction, but in terms if disconnecting your battery (aka electron pump), you always disconnect it at the source of the electrons, which is the negative terminal.
I needed the torque for the valve cover :(
I can’t get my bulb to seat tight!
What size is the tool that you're using? You're definitely not going into enough detail
What if I lost the clip of the master cylinder and I can’t bleeding because of that? Help
And for all you knewer car owners, make sure you have your key fob next to you so you can turn the horn off. Now for the fun stuff, you get to reset the clock and all your radio stations.
I don't go by color. I chase the wire, when I find it is going to the chassis then I know I have the negative/ground side and that's the one I remove first and connect last...
Thanks for sharing
Thanks a lot Sir.
You're Welcome
